I enjoy craft and needed some unusual buttons. They have an amazing range! There are also books, wool and other craft needs. Worth a visit!
We bought a variety of fruit and vegetables when we were there a couple of weeks ago, and the quality was great. They also have plants for sale and a good range of sweets... The staff treat all customers like friends and will often greet people by name. Not the cheapest, but worth it.
They always have a good range of magazines, cards, and stationery . It's a good shop to explore when looking for a gift, too. The staff are friendly, but you sometimes have to wait while they serve the many people wanting lotto tickets etc.
We sometimes have lunch at the beach, and we usually decide to call in at Beck's for dessert. I love their honey sticks and kitchener buns! It's a very popular bakery and parking is easy.
Approximate cost: $10
We needed a safe and reliable cattery for our two cats when we went overeseas. Pam and Tony genuinely care about the cats and it's clearly more than just a business to them. Our cats came home very healthy and happy, and they had clearly enjoyed their holiday as much as we did ours.
This is a popular cafe that many locals go to on a regular basis. It can sometimes be difficult to get a table but they do their best to accommodate everyone. They make a nice hot chocolate and the cake was fresh.
A great store if you're looking for a birthday gift, craft or art supplies, or just about anything else you can think of. I've bought books, stationery, kitchenware and so many other things over time and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Not too sure about the quality of the plants in punnets outside the front of the shop, but worth a look.
Very impressed with the staff here - they're helpful and knowledgeable. We needed some soil for our raised garden beds and I was happy with the quality. They have a good range of products and some plants, too.
I love the quality of the plants here and the staff are friendly and helpful. We would take our students there every few months to see what was in season and to buy plants that they would put in at our school.
Whenever we have spare time at the shopping centre, we invariably end up in Mostly Books. They have a great range of novels, childrens' books and non-fiction, and the staff are always helpful. Definitely not the cheapest around, but worth a visit.
