My local library which out of all libraries, I love to spend time at. It overlooks a lake in a housing estate and the full wall of windows makes it a lovely place to read for the afternoon. Even though the selection of books, magazines and dvds aren't as big as other libraries, the other branches are very close and their selection is still very good and they will willingly transfer from other libraries.

We took our dog here for a surgery that was misrepresented to us in terms of how invasive it was. When we were told to pick our dog up he was still obviously heavily sedated. We were given no information at all about after-care and possible side-effects or complications. As a result, the stitches broke open a few hours later and if it wasn't for the amazing care of the vets at the Animal Emergency Centre in Mount Waverley, he would have bled to death. There was no way to contact the vets at Monash Veterinary Clinic and when we went to see them the next day for antibiotics, that I suggested he might need, they seemed very indifferent and non-apologetic for what happened. The Clinic is very big and feels like a conveyer belt. Would never, ever take any animal here again.

Great location, right by the river. We rented an apartment that was a short walk to the river. It was very comfortable with a kitchenette that we were able to use to make breakfast in the morning. We were able to book when we turned up and it was not very expensive.

Our dog suffered very serious complications from a surgery performed at a different vetrinary clinic, that did not present until late at night. The centre is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and when we rushed their we were attended to by a very friendly, professional and helpful vet straight away. They looked after us and were realistic about his diagnosis, they didn't give us false hope but they were very caring. We had to leave our dog their overnight and we were personally called by the vet to update us on our dog's condition. Thankfully our dog is now fine, no doubt to the wonderful vets at this centre who saved his life. The vets and nurses even sat with our dog while they ate their breakfast so he wouldn't be lonely!

Cosy and great restaurant. The food is amazing, both eat in and takeaway. Their semi-sundried tomato sushi rolls are the nicest sushi I have ever tasted. Great location opposite East Malvern train station. The only downside is that it is so small it can be hard to get a seat!

My regular Sunday morning breakfast cafe. Their eggs benedict is amazing and at $10.50, it is great value! The rest of their breakfast options are great as well and they also cater for people looking for healthier options. The staff are very friendly and local artists works which are sold off the wall make the environment very special.

Very nice restaurant, helpful staff and very good food. Convenient location, very close to the Village Cinemas and shopping centre but sometimes hard to park very close on a thursday or friday night. However, for the food I am definitely a regular visitor!

Although it is a nice traditional diner environment, the staff don't seem very welcoming of people who use it as a social venue, even though that is clealy how it is designed. Both times I have been there, I have been rushed to order and repeatedly asked. The food was not the cheapest and not the quality I would expect.

My favourite, favourite restaurant. The owner is very friendly and always does her utmost to make sure everyone has a great dining experience. The food is delicious and it is great value. For about $40 two of us can share 2 mains and 2 entrees.

Really peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly and warm, caring staff. From when I walked in until when I left I felt calm, relaxed and it put me in a wonderful frame of mind for the rest of the day. I had a manicure which looked gorgeous and even bought their moisturising cream because it was such good quality.
