The cottage is tiny but cute. The rooms give you a good insight into Cook's living arrangements and are presented really well. However, you can't enter any of them and can only stand by each door and have a look inside. Not a must see attraction. Kids will be bored. Nothing spectacular.

Cheese heaven! If you love cheese then you should definately come here. They have a wide variety of speciality cheeses that taste wonderful. You can sample before you buy. There is also a small museum within the shop which is free of charge. Even if you don't wan't to buy anything you should still come and visit because the shop is absolutely fantastic and is a tourist attraction.

Car fanatics will love this place, but it might not be that fun for everyone else. Even though some of the exhibits were informative and engaging I lost interest after a while. My 8 year old son wasn't too keen either.

Quite a big museum that was really informative and well presented. You get to see how wool is made. There are machines that are in operation and you can literally see what's happening. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The souvenir shop was great as well.

This is a fantastic museum. So many things to see. The museum had an excellent collection of old horse carts, carriages and farm machinery. I spent a while at this place as they had so many items on display. This museum is definately an eye opener for kids because they get to see what life was like in the olden days. Well worth a visit.

Although the caves are beautiful they are fairly small. The cave tour I went on wasn't very long because there wasn't a lot to show. I have seen many different caves and would say these caves were not that spectacular in comparison to the others. Unless you are a cave enthusiast, give these caves a miss.

These caves are absolutely beautiful. The tour guides give a well presented and informative tour. There are a few restaurants and cafes around the area and they have a hotel on site as well. Plenty of picnic areas too.

These are one of the best botanical gardens in NSW. There are many different sections in this place and you can get lost in these big endless gardens. The array of different plants and flowers is fantastic. This place is great for wedding photo sessions. There is a great restaurant and cafe on site and the staff run good tours as well. I have been here numerous times and always bring a picnic and spend the whole day here.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this gaol and would recommend it to anyone interested in seeing old gaols. This gaol is very big and I ended up spending more than half the day here. The exhibits were really informative and staff gave excellent tours. They run night tours as well and ghosts have been spotted. You can even stay the night in the living quarters. People hold birthday parties here too.

This review is for Old Dubbo Gaol, Dubbo NSW

You get to have a look at what life was like in an old gaol. Even though the gaol is small, the exhibits are very interesting and informative. Some of the cells contain life like prisoners in them. I spent about 1 and a half hours at this place and my kids enjoyed it as well. They were given work sheets by the staff to complete and went exploring around the gaol to find the answers to the questions on their sheets. Once they finished they gave them in and were each given a cute badge saying "I survived Dubbo Gaol"- a great little souvenir.
