This is a great Chinese Restaurant in Cannon Hill. It has a very authentic vibe and menu and has rave reviews for their Peking Duck. Although I haven't tried this yet the two takeaway dishes I have had so far have been great. Looking forward to trying it for dinner.

I had walked past this place plenty of times but finally stepped inside on the weekend and was very impressed. It is a nice homely style Italian joint offering great comfort food. My porchetta was beautiful with a great range of veggies and my wife's duck risotto was also superb. The kids loved their pasta and although the cannoli wasn't as good as I've had in my hometown of Ingham the accompanying ganache was beautiful.

This is my favourite burger joint in Brisbane and as I have been on a quest lately I have been to a lot. Their burgers are always big and juicy with a hint of pink showing through and their meat to bun ratio is fantastic. They also have a good variety of burgers and friendly staff. They serve beer too so what more could you want.

As part of my Brisbane burger quest I had to get to Just Poppy's and I wasn't disappointed. Friendly service and great big burgers. My only comment is I would like a better meat to bun ratio however they do still certainly deliver.

Pretty decent pub, definitely one of the better ones in Logan. The deck is a great feature and it does a good Sunday session. I haven't eaten there yet but the food looks pretty good.

This place does a decent kebab for a reasonable price. Not really much more to say they aren't amazing but they fill the belly and are decent quality. Would come back for a second try.

This review is for star buffet seagulls, Tweed Heads West NSW

This is the largest buffet I have seen outside of Las Vegas. It is seriously huge, I had around 4 plates of mains and 2 of desserts and didn't even see the entire section devoted to seafood and salads. It is not the quality of vegas buffets but the amount of food and price is pretty unbeatable. There is a good selection of chinese and regular buffet items and I was particularly impressed with the BBQ chinese section with duck, chicken and pork.

Stopped in here for a beer and a few nibbles with a mate on his recommendation and was impressed. They have a good range of beers although could have some more on top though they have a small bar space. We only tried the nibbles menu but was very impressed with the fried pickles, brisket and mini dagwood dogs. Definitely a go back and a good new American restaurant/bar.

I usually go to the Coolangatta hotel more often than not when in Cooly but The Sands isn't too bad either. They do a decent Sunday Sesh and get a pretty big backpacker turn out. I haven't eaten there but the crowd and beers are decent

Bumped into this café as we were staying at Calypso plaza and were very impressed. It is a bustling little café with great service and an interesting menu. I was very impressed with my saganaki breakfast with extra bacon and loved the fact you could get a berocca if you were feeling a bit under the weather. Great service and food will have me coming back.
