We had our wedding reception at Windmill Gardens and it was fantastic. As soon as we entered the venue for our first inspection we knew this was the place for our reception. The co-ordinator was brilliant both before and during the reception. We had no troubles with organising the day and had to do minimal compared to what other places expected. The day was amazing. The grounds were beautiful and we got some great photos. The meals were lovely. The presentation and running of the evening was great too. I loved everything about it.

I went to the Pheonix Brewery with some friends for a birthday and was impressed with everything about it. The service was fantastic; drink orders taken immediately, opening the menus, reciting the specials. Good "old fashion" service. The food was sensational. I had the vegetable lasagna which melted in my mouth. The orders all came out together with no mistakes. The tapas were brilliant too. Great wine list.

I have bought many shoes here over the years and recently went there for wedding shoes (self and bridal party). They were really helpful and didn't pressure us into buying anything or choosing something we weren't keen on. They probably didn't have the variety I needed and so I had to go elsewhere on this occasion but I would go back for work shoes and runners.

I had my car washed here and it was great. I sat and had a cofee while they vacuumed, washed and polished my car. It was pretty quick really but I advise that you leave some time as it is not your average car wash. The car looked as good as when we first got it. It also makes a great present for a guy who is hard to buy for.

I read on WOMOW that Athlete's Foot were really helpful in fitting the right shoes for the purpose you need so, seeing as my runners were falling apart, I thought I'd try them. Andrea served me and was fantastic. She asked what I was looking for, did the whole feet analysis and then showed me some appropriate runners for what I needed. They fit really well, support my feet and are so comfortable. Pretty expensive but I guess that's expected with runners nowadays.

I went to the Black Rhino for Sunday drinks with friends. It was pretty cozy and quiet with a toasty fire. The bar staff were really nice and helpful. There is pool tables and game machines. The problem was that they ran out of beer from the keg and then from the fridge as well. We weren't drinking that much! They'd obviously run out the night before and they did restock while we were there which showed some good service. The put some good drink deals on as a result. I wouldn't mind checking it out on a Friday or Saturday night though.

I have been going to this mini golf since I was a kid; every summer. It has 18 holes and you can move through the course as quickly or slowly as you feel (or depending on how good you are). The owners are always welcoming and accomodating for big groups. It is near Lake Petrobe and the beach which make a beautiful setting. The wholes are simple but challenging. They have a high scores board which includes everything from town, football team, state, gender and occupation. You can try and beat other people's scores to get your name up, although mine are always beaten by the time I arrive back the next summer. The course good use some repairs in parts but the surrounding garden beds are always neatly kept.

Last night I went to Assunta's for dinner and really enjoyed it. The tables were nicely spread out, with couches at the front and a courtyard out of the back. The background music was great with Sarah Blasko and Kate Miler-Heidke cds with relaxing chlled out sound. The service was good with minimal wait for drinks or meals and checking that everything was nice. The menu is quite extensive and it was hard to choose a dish. There was meals to share, risotto, pizza, pasta, steak, wok dishes and chicken dishes. I chose penne with sweet potato, pumpkin, chicken, spinach in a cream sauce. It was sensational.

I have been to Werribee Mansion hotel for a few massages and it is great because they include use of the spa and sauna before or after, give you a cozy dressing gown and slippers and big fluffy towels if you choose to spa/sauna. The massages were amazing; i was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep. they make you feel really comfortable. Herbal tea afterwards is a nice way to finish. I have had a facial there also which was lovely; they explained the products they used but didn't push me to buy anything. The whole location and set up is beautiful. I have also bought gift vouchers for people who have loved it.

I recently had a full body massage at Elysium Day Spa which was relaxing and released a lot of tension in my muscles. The venue is quiet and has a relaxed feel. The massage catered to my needs and requests. Afterwards I had a lovely herbal tea which topped off the nice experience. I'd love to do it every week but it's too expensive. Parking out the back is convenient
