Every time I go to Myer I find that the service is excellent. The staff don't bug you but are very helpful when asked for assistance. There are some great sales and a good range of products in most areas. I would like to see more books in the store but otherwise am very happy shopping there.

I hate bra shopping but for once I had a good experience. I have been here a couple of times and never been really satisfied with the bras I come away with. I know I am a picky bra wearer and so I thought I'd give them another go. The lady that helped me was new to the store and wearing an "L" plate but she was excellent. She said she suggested things she found comfortable, and they really were comfortable. Not the latest newest advertised bra but something actually comfortable. I was very happy.

I recently went to Blockbuster and was really disappointed. They don't have a very big selection; particularly of the dvd series which are increasingly popular and they don't seem to have many copies of their movies. I also watched a hired dvd with a friend from there and it was scratched. I know this happens but its is still disappointing.

I have been to the Bridge many times for breakfast, lunch or dinner and it has rarely disappointed. I love sitting outside for lunch or on a warm evening and inside near the fire when it is cold. The service is normally pretty good but the most recent time I went they took ages (there wasn't enough staff). I love the breakfast menu and also when they have the pumpkin gnocchi as a special. You have to book on busy days like Father's Day etc.

I really love this old theatre. It's much nicer than the new ones being developed closer to Melbourne. Cinema 1 is so big and it's like being at a theatre. The chairs in that cinema have the fold up arms which is great if you are with someone you want to cosy up to. I have not been to Gold Class yet so can't comment. The gift vouchers for both Gold Class and the general cinema are a great idea. The still do "tight arse Tuesdays" which is always good in this day and age when everything costs so much.

I am a big Italian food fan but I like it done well and this place do it well. It is great food and has a casual atmosphere that suits couples, groups or families. I've really enjoyed eating here a few times and will continue to visit.

This was one of the first restaurants I visited when my now husband was trying to convince me to make the move to Ballarat and I must say it set the standard pretty high for the town but I was impressed and it made my "pros" list. I love the chicken parmagiana, the atmosphere, the cakes. It is all lovely.

I got introduce to Chat for Tea by some work mates and was really impressed. The food was lovely and I love the little set up in the resturant. We got take away but I am keen to try an "eat in" experience for the beautiful atmosphere.

I recently went here with friends for tea and really enjoyed it. I was prepared for slow service from other WOMOW ratings. Except for taking our orders, they were quite timely with seating us and serving our meals (given - it was a Monday night and probably not the busiest time anywhere). I had a risotto with chicken, pumpkin, pine nuts, parmesan and prociutto and it was delicious. I agree with Tanban about the pokies but the Rouge Bar looks inviting and has free poker on Tuesdays which could be worth a look in if you like to play cards just for fun.

I went here on the weekend for a friend's birthday. The music was pretty funky with a good mix. It was disco night but it wasn't corny disco music, rather more modern stuff. I thought that the drinks were reasonably priced for Melbourne (eg: $4.50 for a pot of Heiniken, $5 pot Becks). The set up was pretty good with bar stools, couches, tables etc. You can also eat there and the food smelled delicious but I didn't have any. They have an outside beer garden/court yard with its own couches and bar which was good for the smokers but not those of us needing fresh air. They had a pretty spacious idea of packed house which has it's bad and good points (ie: we struggled to get some friends in cause they said it was full but there seemed to be heaps of room).
