These lovely people created a most spectacular unicorn cake for my daughters birthday that amazed our guests and absolutely made my daughter day. Accomodated to our wishes without any problem. Would certainly recommend Cake Art to everybody for that special occasion cake.

Recently wanted to purchase a gift of a higher then normal quality Whisky. I know completely zilch about them but phoned Nicks and the fellow who took my call was so helpful and explained things to me. I will turn to them in future as I feel completely confident I can trust their advice and that they will put me in the right direction. The postage and packaging also excellent. Thumbs up to these guys, well done!

Went to the Parramatta salon middle of last year. They left colouring in well past buzzer whilst all the staff attended to young woman on the other side of the salon who was complaining. My scalp started to burn and my hair ended so hair was so brittle I worried putting my head down on the pillow per chance of it all snapping off. I did end up with quite a degree of hair loss and now all these months later I am again in mess as the hair is regrowing and sticking up through the longer hair. Daughter went at the same time and her hair damaged then, when got to haircut part was told you don't need one we will give you keratin treatment. Whatever they did was not keratin treatment and ended up having to get another hairdressers salon to cut several inches of damaged hair away the next day. In a nutshell DONT GO.

We went there for the lunch buffet. Step through the front door and the view will take your breath away. The food was exceptional value for money and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will go again, really enjoyed our visit. Recommend for couples, families and would be fabulous place to take visitors.

The food is fabulous and none of your teaspoon sized serves. Very filling and absolutely delicious. I swear the barbecued haloumi was best I've had and the lamb skaras was divine and oh so tender. Treat yourself. My daughter and I were so pleased we did.

A wow factor emporium where you can find treasures galore for gift giving and home decorating and at much better prices then elsewhere. Divine decorating wreathes, kitchen ware to die for, floral decorations, toys, Christmas adornments etc etc etc. The service was fabulously friendly also. A wonderful place to buy beautiful gifts or shout yourself something special.

My husband and I were both surprised by this place. Much more there then we expected. A very well kept zoo with native and exotic animals including snakes, tasmanian devils, tigers, marmosets, crocs (crikey), emus, roos, beautiful white peacocks etc etc. Enough to fill a Manly ferry if not an ark. Pack the kids in the car as they will love not only seeing but being able to pat so many of the animals. We noticed they organise children's birthday parties. We had not heard much of it before but will certainly go again. Kiosk available and plenty of picnic areas. Very enjoyable outing.

We booked for overnight stay with great deal which included breakfast and late checkout and bottle of wine thrown in. They have both city and ocean views so we opted for ocean view and were amazed at the lovely large apartment style suite we had with fabulous views day and night. It would have been ideal for someone staying longer as well as had a kitchenette, separate bedroom, washer and dryer etc. Lovely quality modern furnishings. The service was outstanding also. It is a few minutes walk to the city centre and would be just the thing if you were on public transport as a few 100 metres from station. We loved our stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. Truly great place.

Although a little dated, this hotel still shows through as a fabulous hotel with quality fittings, great service and an absolute knock out view of Newcastle beach. My tip would be take in a 2 night weekend so you can really relax yourself and take in the sights of Newcastle (I was most surprised). It was superb to wake up to the sea view of a morning with a lovely hot breakfast served to your room, and by night the lights of along the ocean and watching passing ships was a wonderful pastime. Watch the world go by from your own hidey hole or go for a walk along the oceanside. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good service, great food, reasonable prices and clean. This Chinese restaurant within the bowling club has had the same management for years and always a diverse menu of cantonese meals my family and friends have always enjoyed. Very, very popular with the locals, says a lot for any restaurant. Ideal for quick lunch, family dinners or small parties. They also have take away available which you can phone through order. Staff are always pleasant and for the quality and quantity of food you will not be disappointed with the price. They also do a very inexpensive lunch special including the rice.
