These guys make the best coffees on the south coast. It is a shame, because it is run almost like the soup kitchen from Seinfeld - get in too early, no coffee for you. Get in too late - no coffee for you. Get in right in the middle between breakfast and lunch - still no coffee for you! You need to remember the rules about when they serve to make the most of it. Apart from that, a great range of unusual local produce, slightly overpriced but worth the visit. Not between 11 and 12 though. Or after 4.

Well, these guys know how to do it right. Fantastically fresh seafood, the best chips and an ideal range of local and international wines. Eat out on the deck, cafe style, get take away or sit in the restaurant and drink in the views. Simply amazing. Cafe gets busy in summer, if you're happy to wait 15 minutes for the best fish, calamari and chips south of Greece, you will be very satisfied.

Awesome! These guys know quality meats. We just collected our christmas ham, it is totally delicious and was cheaper than the lower quality supermarket hams. Great range of seafoods as well as meats, reasonably priced. Always top quality.

Location location location! Before we moved to the area we stayed at the Beach House YHA and absolutely loved it! Cheap, and for the amazing views across the bay, it is almost too cheap. Great friendly staff, reliable internet, well lit and safe accommodation. Dorm rooms looked a little busy but we had our own rooms, and these were cosy and comfortable. If you're visiting the South Coast, try them!

The service at Hotel Elliot is awesome! They are so friendly and we have quickly taken ownership of the pub as our new 'local'! Food is great pub fare and cheap, curry night is fabulous value and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Good wine list, could be changed now and again but some decent local wines. Meals are always ample and always satisfying.

Went for lunch on the weekend - service was OK although not the fastest, food was great pub fare and prices were great, no complaints there. Suggest visiting through the week when they're not quite so busy! Some local wines on the list as well which is nice.

What do they do behind the scenes at Australia Post that make the lives for everyone including their staff, so difficult? Can't fix a redirection problem at the branch, you have to call the service centre. Can't help with account inquiries in person, you must call the call centre and sit on hold for 20 minutes. One week, you can add a certain item to your business account, the next, it is removed. Want to complain? You can't, they have no complaint policy or customer complaint department (apparently). One issue has been unresolved now for five months - luck they have a practical monopoly or they'd be out of business. Try the happy folk at Noarlunga if you want something done.

Location location location, great coffee and cakes at Hector's. A little pricey but you pay for the views across to Hindmarsh Island. Get in early on weekends for breakfast as it fills up fast! Staff were a bit grumpy on our visit, the only shortcoming.
