They service you stock standard "typical" Japanese food like sashimi, tempura, yakitori and green tea ice cream. It is a casual restaurant and they offer set meals at very reasonable prices. I would not recommend it if you are wanting more seasonal, delicate Japanese food.
This is the place to go for fresh seafood. I like to go there in time for lunch so that I can go and have Yum Cha at the Chinese restaurant upstairs. I have tried fish and chops at a few places at the market but have never been happy with the quality. The sushi bar is quite good. There is also a deli at the market and you can get some great cheese.
I love love love their iced dark chocolate. Unless you have really sweet tooth, I don't recommend you order a chocolate drink and have dessert. Nice atmosphere - it is a great place to buy gifts as well. Their cakes are also delicious.
I can't believe they call this Japanese. Little wonder as this chain was born in London. All their ramens are sweet and are nothing like what they are supposed to be. Their rice is dry and hard and ...well, it just isn't Japanese food.
This place is quite expensive, but you can tell that they use good ingredients and they know how to work with them. There are not many tables in the restaurant so need to be prepared to wait on weekends. Their bread and butter is very nice~!
I love pizzas and have tried quite a few places around Sydney and I think this place serves the best ones. I love the basic Margherita pizza. Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. Their crust is to die for. Crispy and chewy. Their salad and pasta dishes are also very nice.
This place used to draw large crowds but lately you rarely see it full of customers. I think it is largely due to new pizzerias going up in this neighborhood. The sound in the restaurant echos in the concrete walled and floored restaurant and you need to almost shout to each other to be heard. The pizzas crust is crispy, and find that it is almost like eating pizzas with a water cracker base.
Approximate cost: $18.00
Since they only opened recently, the cafe does not run as smoothly as the more established ones, but you can tell that they are trying. I had a peach or a pear loaf with coffee. It was really nice toasted. Will definitely be back to try their other sweet temptations.
This is a great website where you "swap" your gently worn baby and children's clothing and accessories. Sign up as a member and gain store credits for 50% of the established purchase price of your item/s in exchange for items in the shop.
The staff here are attentive and their prices are competitive. The salon is bright and clean and they also do a great job with waxing. They are very busy on the weekend so it is a good idea to book ahead. You can also take advantage of their offer where you get a discount on the 5th visit.
