Although not a particular stand-out in terms of range of music or even electrical goods, they do have frequent sales with prices that even beat Target. Worth a regular visit to check out things like iPod speakers and headphones. Range of music is okay - better than the big music chains - and a bit cheaper
Approximate cost: $25 for CD
Intimate little cinema in the heart of the CBD. Offers a range of quirky and popular movies in cinemas that are not too big and not too small. Tucked away in the basement of Collins Place.

We hired a function room for a party. The ambience was terribly, he service horrible and food disgusting, including under-cooked chicked. We paid $180 for three platters of finger food and only received two. They did not reimburse the third, even after repeated visits and phone calls. Never again

The food is delightful, especially the all-day half-serve breakfasts. The staff can be grumpy and don't really engage with customers. Coffees are a bit expensive

An intimate supermarket with a wonderful choice of selected products not found in large supermarket chains. Things like Dutch goods, better quality crackers and breads. Also has a large bottle shop.
the best thing about this place is the service. the staff seem to be having fun and are always focused on making sure the customer is being served. the space is large and quiet, considering it's in a busy city food court
i can't fault this cute little burger shop. the burgers are delicious - they use amazing sauces and grill the beef, chicken, steak or tofu to perfection. they have a diverse range of burgers, salads, fish & chips and other main dishes

a bad one. we had a function for 60 people in the metropol's function space, which included indoor and outdoor area. we ordered three $60 platters of finger food, which were disgusting. eg. the chicken wings were tasteless and undercooked.

The food is great - simple, homely and tasty. Parmigiana night is great, offering a range of parmigianas, including mexican and hawaiian. Awesome outdoor area during the summer, and great place to hang out when the grand prix is on.
Approximate cost: $20
The food is much better than most of the Thai restaurants in the area. Although the decor is a bit kitsch, there are holes in the floor at the tables to put your legs into -allows you to sit on the ground without having to cross your legs. Something unique!
