A vehicle parts supply company couriered my parts to me so that I could register a vehicle in time for the Christmas break. That was three days ago. I waited at home on the first day for eight hours (from 8am until 4:30pm - no courier. Sometime after that they dropped a card in my letterbox. No phonecall.
I've spend over five hours on hold over the last three days (thank goodness for speakerphone), in 26 phonecalls (that's right 26!). All but two of these have resulted in a dropout (their system just hangs up on me).
Despite commitments two days ago, they just left my package at the depot all yesterday.
They tell me that they do drop at newsagents, but have none in my area. This is amazing to me, as I live in Redfern, one kilometer from the CBD of largest city in Australia. Driver (or radio room) will not call on approach.
My vehicle will no be out of registration all of Christmas - It's a campervan and I was going to be using it.
I have now been asked to drive further than the original delivery distance to collect my package if I want it.
Under duress, I have given authority to leave the package unattended (what choice do I have?).
There are so many good couriers. You should never use this company.
