Chat Thai is and will always be my favourite Thai restaurant. The food is always impeccable.
Great Greek food in the city, the prices are pretty reasonable considering the sizes of the dishes. The decor is dated, but that doesn't distract you from the great food and friendly service.
Typical Irish themed pub with a great range of imported Irish refreshments on tap. Otherwise nothing really special to rave about.
The Carrington Hotel is a beautiful place with a great vibe and great service. It is nice to come here for drinks on the weekend.
With so many new cafes in Penrith, it can be hard to find the one that is right for you, one day I stumbled upon High St. Depot and I really loved their coffee. The coffee is so good, probably the best in the area, the service is good too.
The Basement is the best place to watch a live band. I like it because unlike other venues, it is not prentitious. Great atmosphere and live music makes it a great place to visit.
The Argyle is great, it is another great place to go for a drink on the weekend. Of course the prices are more expensive than usual, it is because you are in the Rocks area.
The Sackville is a great place to meet a few mates on the weekend for a few drinks. Great atmosphere, music and the food is alright too.
I love the lord Nelson brewery, the beer is great, the place is awesome and I love the food too. The pub is also out of the area where all the other pubs are so it is not as noisy.
The Opera Bar is such a beautiful place to have a bar, what's not to love with such beautiful views. The place has a great vibe after work and they often have a band playing. Bar food is good too.
