I have been to this fish and aquarium shop several times and I have found their service (when not too busy), and knowledge of the industry to be exceptional! They have the largest range of fish and fish related products in Adelaide that I am aware of and all of the staff there are not only fish enthusiasts, but seem to be fish & aquarium experts. I have never spoken with any member of their team who does not know exactly what they are talking about. The advice you get here is second to none, well, that I have found anywhere else in SA anyway. They are a bit pricy as far as some of the other fish and aquarium shops go, but some of the other shops can give wrong advice that can be harmful to your fish anyway, so it does pay off to have great advice from true experts, I think. The shop itself is amazing and there is always something new and exciting to look at. It is actually well worth going in there to have a look at their displays of different marine tanks and aquariums. (Its actually like going to a smaller version of Seaworld, or Sydney`s aquarium.) Lots of things to look at.

This is my local pet supplies shop. Although the business is quite small they actually stock a lot of great quality products and have a broad range of services. They even hold pet events such as their up and coming `quirkiest dog` competition. (Lots of fun for pet owners.) The pet meat loaf they sell is of exceptional quality as it is made locally and has no artificial flavors or additives and is great for people who care about their pets diet and nutrition. (As I do.) They have almost everything in store as far as pet food goes (including crickets and frozen mice for snakes / lizards) and also a decent range of pet products (toys etc.) The main negative about this store is that it is a little bit pricy in some areas but it is also well priced in others. Great customer service with a friendly smile, good advice and they are not afraid to direct you to a different shop if they do not stock something themselves. (that is becoming quite rare these days.)

This park has great pros but unfortunately also comes with some cons. On the plus side, it is a huge family park with lots of space and room to walk around. It has a lot of nice shady areas with lots of wonderful Australian native trees and fauna. It also has a decent size pond with lots of birds and wildlife (including awesome water skinks.) It is a very peaceful park and has all of the usual facilities you would expect and the park prices are relatively cheap. (Great for long stays on a budget.) On the flip side, the bulk of the camping grounds themselves are right near a main road, which unfortunately gets some fairly heavy traffic. The main kitchen camping facilities here are not huge and when there are hundreds of people staying here it becomes a bit of a fight for the use of these facilities. This is the same with the toilets and showers. (I found that in the mornings a lot of the time there is a bit of a line up for the showers and bathroom in general), this was even when the park grounds were a fair bit more quieter. I have always enjoyed staying here, as it is pet friendly and my dogs love going over to the pond either for a swim, or to try and catch the water skinks (which I think is virtually impossible!) Just make sure that if you stay here it is not booked out for some huge music festival, or you can probably assume that you will have to line up for the shower etc. Also make sure that you try and get a site that is not too close to the main road so as to assure getting a good nights sleep without being interrupted by heavy late night traffic.

This is a great holiday park to stay at if you have children. There are lots of activities in and around the park. I do not personally have kids myself but I do have furry kids (dogs), which is the main reason I chose this park in the first place, (dogs were allowed at managers discretion.) The pool at this park was really nice to swim in and the park grounds were extremely shady and well cooled during the warm weather. Camping grounds were quite big and spacious and the facilities were really well laid out. It was only a short walk to the pet friendly beach where you could run your dogs off the leads and my dogs absolutely always had a ball here. (Close drive into Port MacQuarie too.) There are a few camping grounds I always looked forward to staying at when we used to travel from Adelaide to the Gold Coast, and this was always one of them! Stayed here about 4 times in the past and always had a very pleasant stay.

I have stayed here about 5 or 6 times now and it is my preferred caravan park in, or near Apollo Bay. I love traveling the Great Ocean Road and this is a quiet little caravan park that does not seem to host a lot of loud and over- excited tourists. Always peaceful, always clean and tidy, great ocean views (ocean views from directly inside the park from some vantage points), or a brief walk to the sand dunes where there is a beautiful ocean view. I have found this park to be well priced and does not get as booked out as the other ones in Apollo Bay as it is not right in the middle of the town, but just a couple of minutes drive down the road. Don`t miss out on staying here just because you have to either drive 2 mins / walk 10 mins into town, unless of course that is important. Oh yeah I almost forgot, the reason I stayed there in the first place was because they accept dogs.

I stayed here a few years ago now, but I had a great little 3 night mini get away during summer. I stayed with a couple of friends of mine in a cabin and the cabin was quite neat, tidy and very cosy. It is very close to the beach and shops, so quite a convenient location, especially if you like the beach and its atmosphere. There are nice places to walk around both inside the park and close by. The camping facilities are quite good and I recommend this caravan park to people looking for camping facilities, or just looking for somewhere to stay down south. Its not too far from the McLaren Vale wine region either. Me and my friends had a lot of fun while we had our little beach get away down there and will most likely stay there again. (From memory one of the downsides was that the wireless internet service was quite expensive.) Caravan park prices = fair.

I absolutely love flying with Virgin airlines, its fun and entertaining and everything about it entices excitement. I look forward to the flying experience almost as much as the destination. The only thing that is a downside to flying with Virgin is that you don`t get prepared meals as a part of the free service and you have to order and pay for sandwiches / drinks etc. (They are much cheaper than their competition so I do not see that as a huge negative aspect anyway.) I find the Virgin staff to be extremely happy and always friendly (You can always look forward to a Virgin flight attendants smile.) You can always tell when someone loves their job as their smile is natural and not forced. I always intend on flying Virgin unless I am going somewhere where the flight times are not suited, or another company beats their price (but has to be somewhat of a big price difference), or else I just fly with the service with a great smile!

I just went to this kfc for lunch. I ordered a new `blazin box` meal which had a zinger burger, a piece of hot n spicy, chips, potato & gravy and a drink. Can I say that the bottle of Pepsi was the best part of the meal? The chips were quite soggy, the burger had been drowned in spicy sauce and the hot n spicy chicken was extremely crumbly (most of it my dog got), as it ended up on the floor. The service was good and the person who served me was polite so I had no issues with the service, but I was not overly impressed with the food at all.

This is the main supermarket I use for the bulk of my grocery shopping. I prefer to use Foodland as it is a South Australian company that supports SA. Some of the fruit and veg is not as fresh as it could be, but the majority of it is good. They do have some really good specials on lots of products and it is a simple and convenient supermarket to use (especially where parking is concerned.) I have always been happy with the service from the staff and the speed at the checkouts. They have a great selection of fresh quality seafood and fish, much better than any other store I have been to, (which is one of the reasons I absolutely love this supermarket.) They have an excellent range of sugar free products, where a section of one of the aisles is dedicated to. They also have a great deli and onsite bakery. and always have great bakery specials (on, or before use by date.)

I have been using this service station for the past 25 years and they have always been growing and changing in positive ways as far as service stations can grow. I have seen several changes to the layout and to the services provided, all which have been for the better. This service station has a great range of products and services and I have always found the staff to be quite friendly and very polite (something that is becoming rarer these days.) Over several thousand visits to this service station I can not ever recall anyone ever being rude to me and that is a huge thing in this day and age. They sometimes have great specials on drinks and also on their sandwiches (when still fresh.) Their fuel is always one of the lowest prices around (after all it is a service station, what more could you ask for really?) ... customer for life!
