I have only eaten here once before but the food was very good. I bought a beef burger and chips. The burger was quite big and very tasty, but you really did not get very many chips at all. The service was fine but nothing to rave about. They used very fresh, quality ingredients, lovely warm bun, and the relish they used was divine. I was definitely a fan of the burger! I find the Lion can get a bit packed and when it is you can feel quite claustrophobic in there. Its a nice venue for the younger crowd, and although I am not old, I prefer cosy places with a great ambiance. I find it hard to appreciate good quality `anything` when a place is overcrowded and extremely loud. (Great for the venue, but not great for a relaxing meal.)

This store is a great pet supplies shop. They are stockists of fine pet foods of great quality and have an exciting range of pet products. (Covering almost everything you could need.) The staff here are quite knowledgeable, very friendly and are very passionate about what they do. Each section has it`s own specialist that knows the products, and they are generally very helpful. I used to go to this store to buy cheap dog toys, balls, frisbees, chews etc. Although some of their other products are a bit over priced. I also used to buy crickets from here. Their crickets are a bit pricy too, but they will price match on crickets with similar prices at other stores. (You just have to ask.) The store is generally quite busy and it is sometimes hard to get assistance, but is generally fine. Parking at this store is good and the store is in a convenient location. Overall, happy customer.

A good pet shop with a huge range of products. They stock everything basically! Great products and excellent quality. I have also found that each section has it`s own specialist that seems to know their products well and I like the fact that they know what they are talking about. I have found that some of the other larger pet store chains are a bit more concerned about making money, rather than making sense! It is a large store and can do with more customer service workers, but I have found that it is adequate still. Although it is definitely a bit over priced on a lot of products, they will price match with other stores on similar products. (They do however have a large number of staff at the front counter working at different times and it can make you feel a bit awkward having to ask them to do a price match every time you go in there.) Sometimes I can not get a park out the front of the store also.

Great pet shop with a huge range of various products for all sorts of animals from cats/dogs to reptiles. The shop has a lot of younger staff members working there and occasionally you might get someone that is not great with pet / animal knowledge, but generally it is good. They have a lot of very well priced products, but the store is a little crammed and it can be a bit hard to find products sometimes (even for staff members.) They generally have well priced animals dogs/cats, rabbits etc. The guy who owns the store is really nice and is generally more than happy to do a good deal on bulk purchases over $100 etc.

I have been to this store quite a few times, (at the time it was the most convenient store to go to.) I was a little disappointed as far as customer service goes. On a few separate occasions I had asked one of the staff members about particular products and they assured me they would get them in by the following week. I think they just told me that to keep me happy, and never actually did anything about ordering the products. This happened to me about 3 times in a row and then I stopped going there. (This was a few years back though so I am not sure if the business has new management now or not.) Some of the staff there are very friendly and try and do everything than can to be helpful, but some others were not so helpful. Prices are not too bad though when they had stock in. (Unfortunately this was not that often.)

An excellent ma and pa store with great products and great service. The husband and wife / family team here are really passionate about their shop, their customers, and about the animals. They don`t just stock fish as they also have some reptiles, turtles & frogs etc. They are very knowledgeable and love having a chat about your pets. They will do everything they can to ensure that your fish/reptiles/animals are well looked after and they will never try and rip you off!, or try and up-sell products to you just because they feel they can. (They are extremely genuine and a lovely couple.) It is easy to support a true South Aussie business like this as it is the true definition of what a genuine business that cares about their customers really is all about.

I think these guys should win an award for customer care!!! (I genuinely mean that.) I have dealt with these guys several times and although it is not on my direct route for shopping etc. I would still go out of my way to visit this store, as the staff here have excellent advice and fantastic prices on virtually everything. They truly seem to grasp the concept of retaining loyal customers by being as friendly and approachable as possible. They are a group of younger guys in the business and really bend over backwards to help their customers with their needs and concerns. I have only ever had really great experiences going into this shop and I have seen them give freebies to other customers on a couple of different occasions. (and it is already very well priced.) They have extremely clean tanks and for the size of the shop they have an exceptional range. It is one of those shops where they take constructive criticism on board, and then the next time you go in there, you can see that they have not only listened, but have actually done something about it. Good job guys. (Most younger people in business generally get arrogant about things like this!) Well done!

This is an amazing reptile specialist shop with everything you could possibly need to start your collection or build upon it. Easily the most knowledgeable guys in the business and they will give you straight up advice about your reptiles with no BS! They are not the cheapest reptile suppliers or stockists of foods and vivariums etc. but they definitely know exactly what they are talking about and they only stock quality products and provide quality services. Whether you are an avid collector of reptiles or just a beginner, this is the best reptile shop to have a look at, and to check out the way that things should be done. They have an excellent display centre with many setups and a fantastic range of reptiles (of all shapes and sizes.) This is one of those shops that is like going to a small reptile park. Years of expertise and knowledge with all of the staff members I have conversed with and although they can be a bit blunt with some people, they know what they are talking about and genuinely care about the health of the reptiles over the owners needs and concerns.

Great pet store with very friendly staff. They have a huge range of pet supplies and also stock a good range of pets. They are fairly well priced, especially seeing as they are located in the city. It is convenient to park at, as one of Adelaide`s main car parks (U - park) is right next door. (I find it quite convenient to do my city shopping and then quickly pop into the pet shop on the way to the car.) Always friendly staff working there and they love to have a chat about your pets.

I started buying my dog food through Bucket O` beef about a year ago and I really only have good things to say about this company. Firstly, they deliver right to your door, and it is always on time. Second, they have convenient payment methods, allowing you to either pay cash, or with a credit card by phone, or online. They are are also a little flexible with payments, which is obviously not preferred. But this is very appreciated, (especially when not working.) I have always found the staff to be extremely friendly and you can really get to know your service person. The food is extremely well priced and the quality is great also. I buy the original beef buckets for my two dogs and it is all free of artificial flavors, colorings and preservatives. They do have a pretty good selection of other products too. (All good quality.) I have recommended this business to quite a few people as I believe it is a great company with great ethics & standards towards pets / pet owners.
