I don't often go here because I'm put off by the stark outdoor setting and its lack of privacy. The indoor setting is too small and the outdoors too exposed. The coffee was mediocre, good for crowds of people but not very accommodating if you go there alone.

Yummy grilled octopus and generous pasta make this place to my taste. They have an ice cream bar and it's nice to eat there before or after the movies because they are quite quick with the service.

Tucked away in Ultimo, it's mainly a take away place but I have had noodle soup there and a beef and rice dish. It's nothing really out of the ordinary but satisfies those cravings, and is very convenient.

I go to this Bistro regularly for bangers n mash, chips with gravy, wedges with sour cream and sweet chili sauce, and pad thai. It's tucked away in Ultimo and the actual pub section is smaller than the bistro itself. They got rid of the poker machines and renovated the bistro. Now it has an upstairs enclosed attic l kind of area, but it's got lots of windows and light. Quick service is great, reasonable prices.

The Chinese Cultural Club Restaurant is awesome, and the Yum Cha is the best in Sydney. It's open seven days a week but it's kind of tucked away so it is mostly filled with Chinese people. I liked the livelyness of the room, although Idon't remember there being any windows. Apart from the Yum Cha I've also tried dishes from the set menu which are not quite as good or fun. Apart from that it's really a more than just a dining experience. Highly recommended.

A fantastic takeaway that feels like a dining experience. You can get the good old quarter chick and chips, but if you did this you'd be missing out. The roast dinners are to die for plus very fresh salads.

If you want a quick but tempting meal on the sushi train, or a Japanese dining experience, you should try this restaurant. Very easy to eat if you are too full. You can watch the sushi chefs as they prepare the dishes. It's easy to spend more money than you expect.
Approximate cost: $25
This is a very convenient place. They are open late, obviously so they can sell their sushi fresh. They have very nice rice paper rolls and your average seaweed wrapped rolls but with all sorts of fillings, including eel.

I have been going to Dr Robinson and Dr Godfrey for about fifteen years. They are close to Sydney Uni, near the sports centre. They are very thorough and conscientious and they really care.
I had a leg wax here and the girl didn't do a great job, just ok. They didn't feel hairless although she said I should come back to get hair free legs. The price was very good though, only $20. I'll probably go there again for an eyelash tint because it was a very nice salon, nice and calming.
