The person who answers the phone is the most obnoxious, rude, and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. This man abused myself and my partner when simply trying to ascertain the costs involved in a repair.

The business advised the cost of a call out as being $154, which was supposed to include one hour of labour. After having a 20 minute visit and paying this, the technician advised that we would not have to pay for more labour to have the dishwasher repaired as we had already paid for an hour, though we would be required to pay additional for any residual labour - ie additional labour costs outside of the one hour we had already paid for. The next day the business owner advised that $154 only includes half an hour of labour, despite telling us that this included an hour of labour the day before. When I tried to question how the price could have changed in a day, and why the technician had told us something different, I was abused by the business owner – apparently you are not entitled to query the exorbitant prices being charged. After getting off the phone extremely upset by the abuse that I had just received, the business owner phoned my partner (private telephone number) and abused him for having me call. In addition to this, the business owner he had secretly put us on a conference call with the technician, who then said he had meant something different the day before.

Dealing with this business was a nightmare. We have taken our business elsewhere – who in their right mind would pay hundreds of dollars to a business that lies about their prices and abuses you over the phone? I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone, and would rather pay another, good company a call out fee all over again, than give this company any more of my money.

I made a booking for a massage several weeks in advance. When I arrived at Massage on Main, the door was locked, despite a sign in the window indicating that the salon was open. After 30 mins of knocking on the door and calling the phone number, I could see a lady walking around inside. She looked at me and smiled but did not come to the door. After further knocking on the door, she finally came out and asked what we wanted. Somehow they had lost the details of my booking but had neglected to contact me in regards to this. I expressed my disappointment as this was a valentines day gift for my partner, and I had driven 45 from Brisbane to get her. Despite ruining my valentines day and being at fault for losing my appointment, the staff at Massage on Main took no responsibility for having lost my appointment, nor did they attempt to make amends for having done so.

This was truly the worst service I have ever experienced. I would never recommend anyone to go to Massage on Main. If their massages are anything like their terrible service, I should be glad my partner didn't have one. How a business can survive when it is run like this is beyond me.
