I phoned Ani at Hair Diorsa (based on reviews) feeling very troubled about what another hairdresser had recently done to my hair. From the very initial consult over the telephone Ani recognised and eased my anxiety and gave me hope that the issue could be rectified. She gave me the option of coming into the salon for a one on one consultation the very next day so we could work out how to tackle the problem, and she assured me there would be no obligation to do anything, or if I wanted to I could go ahead and undergo a new look there and then. I felt so comfortable with Ani, even just over the phone, without ever having met her!
When I arrived at the beautifully appointed Hair Diorsa salon I was greeted with warmth by Ani, AND she was running ahead of time! She gave me a thorough consultation first, explaining in detail about hair colour and how it works on the hairs in a way that no other hairdresser ever has. I did not feel rushed to make any decisions and I felt completely at ease with Ani, which says a lot coming from me. I'm usually very wary of hairdressers due to unpleasant experiences with "pot-luck" salons.
Ani offered me a drink, and I asked for water. It came in a lovely tall glass, with ice, lemon and even a straw! I know this may seem trivial to some, but for me it just highlights Ani's special touch and attention to detail.
As for my actual colour and style cut... It was a superb quality and could not have been more perfect. I literally AND metaphorically feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! The price I paid for a colour correction AND style cut was less than what I was charged elsewhere for a botched-job! I am so delighted with Ani at Hair Diorsa. I will definitely be going back!
