A very basic Japanese noodle/rice menu but in a very cool 'Japanese alleyway' decorated space. It is small and gets V busy too. The noodles are made fresh and it is very inexpensive. I love the mixed vege tempura as well :-) My husband and i are always here when we are on a budget! The staff are really cool and outgoing too.
Approximate cost: $8
Burrito bowl is always a favorite of mine...especially if you dont want to eat a wrap. The spicey chicken goes really well! I think the prices are little too high, considering it is a form of 'fast food' but i guess the quality is pretty good. The frozen beverages are always a good idea too :-)
Approximate cost: $8-12
This place is always a favorite of mine. U can't go wrong with any of the pizzas and the risottos are a favorite of my husbands. The staff are amazing and very attentive. No bookings though which can be tough with a large group but they have a area to sit and have a glass of wine while u wait for a table.
Approximate cost: $20
A tiny place hidden from a busy road-I would guess all of their customers are word of mouth and I was too. Great fresh sushi, made when u order. Menu is nothing different but lots of variety and prices are cheap! Book a table if u can, it gets crazy busy!
Approximate cost: $5-12
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Brisbane! A non vego would find it hard to fault and also find it hard to believe some of the meals really aren't.made with meat! My all time favorite is Seven Seas and a side of the chocolate vegan cake. Always busy really, so be prepared for a tiny wait. They also have frozen stuff to buy for home-which is so handy.
Approximate cost: $13
I love the range of desserts the most here! They always have a delicious fresh selection in the viewing cabinet. I do think their new tapas menu is great too. I'm glad they changed their.menu somewhat in the last year. Friday nights they have a Spanish guitarist and he is sensational! The only live music on Oxford st on a Friday night so its a easy choice!
Approximate cost: $20
I love everything here! My favorites are the thick sliced freshly made sandwiches and the red velvet cupcakes! Their sweets are always a decent size which is good for two people. The place is always busy too, which is a good sign of their ongoing quality.
A really great store with Everything u need and if they don't have it they will do their best to get it for u! I buy stuff there every week. They also have a excellent rewards program, I think it's super easy to benefit from joining it.
It has a fantastic looking Mexican vibe interior..going for a modern cool Mexican rather then cheesey styles like other standard Mexican places.
The white sangria was amazing! But I think a little pricey at $40 a jug.
I tried beef, chicken and vege tacos. Vege were the best, very tasty and something I would order again. The beef and chicken sounded amazing on the menu but I found them a little dull.
I went on.a Friday night)crazy busy as expected! Food took at least 25 mins...lucky we had our sangria for company!
Amazing food! Chicken skewers to die for... You cannot replicate these at home-I've tried!
Amazing Spanish guitarist on a Thursday night as well...add a glass of Sangria to that too!
