I can not fault the quality of electricity.

I have found Origin to be a difficult business to use though. Each time I have called them I end up being transferred from one person to the next. Which means having to ID myself each time.

I wrote to Origin asking them about possible discounts for pensioners as I am aware they exist. Someone got back to me asking for a few details...............2 months later I haven't heard back form them.

I received a default. I believed I had paid the bill. They had issued 2 separate bills I was told of similar amounts..............Confusing for me. The lady told me it happens all the time!

I would not recommend the company. I have used other provides without a hitch in the past and will be returning to them.

I bought a Acer Aspire. The laptop works quite well. I am happy with the keyboard and layout. I would even say I grew quite fond of the laptop.

My issue is only one small but insurmountable niggle. The jack for the power on the laptop became loose and wiggly. This happened about 3 months out of warranty. I reported it and very helpfully and professionally acer paid for postage and repaired the fault. Well sort of the repair job was not very good, which I reported and only a few short months later I was unable to charge the laptop at all.............leaving it useless. I reported it and acer repair asked me to send it in. Their report was that the fault is a major reapir and I would need to pay for it. The cost of repair being very close to the cost of a new laptop. I disputed this and lost.
So I am now left with a useless laptop. Seems such a shame to loose me as a customer for such an issue. Seems such a waste of a laptop that it can't be used any-more. I wish companies would be less wasteful. I don't think we should all have to replace technical equipment so often.

I have until recently been a customer for 2 years. I was attracted the the cheap plans. They were really cheap when I signed up.
The network is stable. The call quality is usual.

I don't like their website and account it doesn't flow and is very limited by comparison.

The 48 hour lag from actual usage to displayed usage is a trap. Interestingly countries like Pakistan do not have this lag. I presume then that the lag is designed to help people go over their spend resulting in over spend charges.

Cancelling this plan has been ridiculous. The support team take typically more than a week to reply and they have a talent for not answering the questions.............ending up in further charges.

All in all when you take in to account all the over charges and bad service it's really not a cheap deal. I now spend more and get a a better service.

I would not use this company again or recommend them.

The first repair was far from great. The second time it needed to be fixed again they refused to fix it. 2 repairs needed is way too much. A laptop is a necessary part of life/business. ACER need to work on manufacturing a better product and provide a better after care.
