This used to be The Station Cafe, but has recently (only in the last few weeks, I think) changed hands (and name).

We had lunch here today, the new menu was good, slightly weighted towards seafood - if you don't eat that, about a third of the menu options are out.

I had the breakfast bruschetta - for lunch, yes! - and it was delicious! My friend had the scallops in a spicy chowder-style soup - she really enjoyed it.

Dessert menu was very adequate - I had gluten free orange cake, and my friend the almond and berry tart ( which I ate half of) - both were fantastic!

They had a good selection of gluten free options, both on the main menu and the dessert, we had quite a discussion with the new owner about it (my friend has family members with Coeliac disease) - he's really trying to provide interesting, varied gluten free options, and not just paying lip service to it.

The decor inside is lovely (they were receiving new furniture today as we were there) and he's mostly updated the outside furniture too. Lovely area with armchairs around a fireplace - would be fantastic on a cold winters day. The old verandah has been glassed in by the previous owner (it was like that when I last visited a couple of years ago) and makes a beautiful setting on a clear day, as today.

Combine the view, the setting, the good service, great food and enthusiasm of the new owner, and you're guaranteed to want to go back!

Trip Advisor is an online service, www.tripadvisor.com.au

Trip Advisor tout themselves as "The World's Largest Travel Site" and I'm sure that's true.

They provide reviews of accommodation, restaurants, flights, attractions - anything to do with travel or holidays, you can find it here!

Want to know if that hotel you booked in Adelaide (or New York or Peru) is at the dodgy end of town or a party animals's paradise? Check on Trip Advisor.

I've used them for precisely that (although having already booked the hotel, felt a bit queasy reading all the poor reviews!) Worked out fine though!

I've also used them to check restaurants both locally and interstate, attractions around Adelaide, the Harbour Bridge climb in Sydney, Salamanca market in Hobart (although that one was just from curiosity, I live in Hobart!) I'm amazed at how many people provide reviews, and all the useful tips.

For example, I deduced from Trip Advisor that I should request a room at the back of my hotel in Adelaide, if I didn't want to be situated right over the nightclub - that was really helpful.

You don't have the ability to comment on reviews, but importantly, business owners have a right of reply, so you can read their responses to complaints. This can tell you a lot about a business too, the way the owner speaks to disgruntled clients and tries (or not) to placate and/or problem solve.

A very useful, I would urge everyone to give it a try.

This is an online service, www.productreview.com.au

Product Review provides an online service where you can, as the name suggests review products online for others to read.

They call themselves "Australia's No 1 Review Site" and I have no doubt that's true.

Before I go shopping for any appliance, large or small, I check here to see what people's experiences have been as to whether or not it's a good purchase.

While I suspect people who've had problems with products are probably quicker to tell the world about it than those who buy something and love it, I've still found it a very useful site.

It also allows you the option to post comments to other people's reviews, such as, "I had that problem too but you can fix it like this", and to ask questions - dependent on the original poster then replying, but the site sends you an email if anybody comments on your post, so you can do it pretty easily.

All in all, it's steered me away from some disastrous purchases, and helped me make some good ones. Having the ability to have a virtual chat with someone who already owns the oven/washing machine/DVD/mixer etc you're considering is worth it's weight in gold.

I highly recommend it.

I love this site, being able to tell the world about the most fantastic place you've just eaten, or the greatest tradesman you've ever had.

On the flip side, it's great to be able to warn people to stay away really dodgy businesses, and I'e had one of those!

My only complaint is that it's difficult to look up a particular business - if you're thinking of eating somewhere or using a particular builder etc - the search function doesn't allow you to just type in and look up a specific business.
You have to input the TYPE of business you're searching for, and the suburb, and it brings up a list that you then have to scroll through.

If your search terms are "restaurants" and "Hobart", it can mean pages and pages of results!

I would use this site much more often to search for reviews, rather than just entering them, if I could find what I was looking for!

But overall, a good site that I enjoy using.

I visited here as an emergency while holidaying interstate. I was given an appointment almost immediately, at a time very convenient to me.

I was amazed that Dr Wegner spent a solid hour with me, he did a very thorough assessment, and was methodical and careful in his treatment.

He also offered to see me again in the afternoon, at no charge, as he felt I would benefit from a follow-up treatment a few hours later.

If I'm in need of a chiropractor anytime when I'm in Sydney in the future, I'll certainly visit him again.

My massage therapist just started working here, and she told me it was beautiful - it is!

The waiting room has comfy seats and water. Lots of space, several therapists can work at once. My therapist's room was warm and cosy and relaxing, I felt completely at home.

You can book online! There are four therapists at present, you can choose who you want to book with, or select "no preference", and it shows you which appointments are available. You can choose, and they send you a confirmation email, and . . . that's it! Appointment booked! So easy!

Cost is the same as I've been paying elsewhere, and they have EFTPOS (which is a bonus). Can't submit claims directly to health fund at present.

They've only just opened and don't have all their signage up yet. Currently they lock the door between clients - hope this will change as it defeats the purpose of the waiting room somewhat!

Saw a kitchen dresser advertised on Gumtree - when I arrived at this fairly new business (been open 6 weeks) that dresser had sold, but found another that was perfect. Looks brand new, absolutely no signs of wear at all. Only $285! Had seen an identical one, new , the previous day for $1300!

Everything in the store looked clean and very good quality, none of the grotty old junk usually sen in secondhand furniture stores. I also bought a small sofa I saw on the way in!

Delivery was only $20 (and only $10 if you don't need a second delivery man to carry/assemble).

They delivered within half an hour on a Sunday afternoons! I only just beat them home! Brought everything inside, assembled the dresser, everything perfect.

Also accepted cash on delivery - apologised for not having EFTPOS yet as they're still a new business.

Overall, everyone was friendly and helpful, service was fantastic, quality is great and I highly recommend them.

Have visited several times when in Sydney. Most memorable was the Monet & the Impressionists exhibition several years ago - couldn't believe I was in the same room as so many breathtaking works of art!

It's a lovely cool spot to while away some time (I always seem to be in Sydney in the hotter months!) in a beautiful setting, and close enough to the city centre to head out shopping afterwards!
Entry to the gallery itself is free, although some of the visiting exhibitions are ticketed.
There's also a nice cafe, with a beautiful outdoor balcony area, and a good range of light meals or snacks.
Cloakroom, of course, and the staff are always helpful, especially with directions for an out-of-towner!
I look forward to my next visit.

We had lunch here after visiting MONA. There was quite a small range of light meals, a lot of different salad and/or fruit based options, but nothing approaching what I'd been expecting. We ended up sharing a couple of cheese plates and dips, some antipasti type offerings, all of which seemed overpriced for what they were.

All up, it was fairly underwhelming and disappointing. Sitting outside in the sun on a beautiful day was pleasant, but didn't make up for the experience not living up to what we'd expected.

An eclectic collection of pieces either interesting, controversial or what-does-anyone-see-in-this? Overall, I'm glad I went, there were enough interesting and enjoyable exhibits to make it a worthwhile visit.

The iPods giving descriptions and background of the exhibits were sometimes good, sometimes more of a distraction.

I was a quite uncomfortable at being told we couldn't take our handbags in, having to leave them in the lockers provided. Supposedly because "we've found it detracts from people's overall experience if they're distracted by carrying their bag around with them." I'm not kidding, that was the reason given! If they'd just said they worried about exhibits being damaged, or people slipping things into their bags, it would've been more believable, at least. I was more distracted by NOT having my bag, and wondering how secure the damn lockers were! My friend was concerned as her child was at school and unwell, and after mentioning she wanted to get her phone from her bag, that was vetoed as well. This was over a year ago, I assume the policy is the same now. Next time I'll wear something with large pockets and carry my purse and phone concealed with me.

Living in Hobart, admission was free for me. If It wasn't, I certainly wouldn't have paid $20 to get in.
