A very nice restaraunt with a good menu, daily specials are usually very nice choices. It's a little expensive but the atmosphere is great and the service very high quality.
Approximate cost: $20
Mako is located on the waterfront docks and provides a very fast service of tasty, fresh fish and chips. The food is wonderful and they actually provide some seating (although limited) compared to the competitors along the dock. The prices are very reasonable and staff friendly enough. I enjoy a feed of fish and chips from this place and there's a nice view of the water from the inside.
Fish 349 does some great food. It is a little bit expensive but well worth every dollar. The seafood is very nice and always tastes fresh. They have really good, fast service and are very friendly.
This place is great to eat at for a low budget family meal. It's always very busy and usually a favourite place for families and children so can get very noisy. The food is reasonable and the prices okay, but it is not a fine dining restaraunt.
Great vibe, like a bar/restaraunt type setting. It's always busy here, the food is great and its a good place to chill and have a drink. The staff are lovely and meal service isn't too bad.
Goodberry's is a great experience. They make the only frozen custard in Australia and it tastes fantastic. You can make concretes, which are your choice of custard with whichever mixtures you pick in it. My favourite is cheesecake and berries with vanilla custard or cookies and cream! Highly recommend them and they have great opening hours.
A great French restaraunt that offers a nice selection on the menu and makes excellant crepes. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this place. Cosy little homely place. Be warned that it is BYO so don't forget your own drinks!
A vegetarian restaruant is hard to come by, so this place is very exciting. They do Vietnamese style fake meat vegan dishes made from 100% soybean protein. Very nice food, fast service and nice staff. It can get a little crowded in here so make sure you book, it's a pretty popular little place.
Very satisfactory dining experience every time I have been here. The setting is just lovely and they have live music on weekends. The food is fantastic, wine is lovely and atmosphere very enjoyable. I regularly go back for afternoon tea or lunches and am always satisfied!
Set in a beautiful little spot, at the bottom of Mt Wellington, this place is great to stop at on a cold winters day. The atmosphere is really nice with a cosy fire. Menu isn't stunning, with barely any vegetarian options, they are also a bit pricey. Otherwise nice to eat at.
