Buy lunch here quite often as I work just around the corner. Such great food and great surface. A nice little place to enjoy a meal as there is seating available. The only downside is because it's so popular it is often very busy.

I stayed here with my boyfriend and another couple for a friends wedding and had booked a 2 bedroom apartment. My friend had checked us in and surprisingly were upgraded to a 3 bedroom.

The space in the apartment was really good and had nice kitchen and laundry facilities.
The decor was "beachy" but definitely could use some updating. The carpets have gone way past their use by date and the beds were pretty average.

Overall it was ok. They could definitely improve on the appearance of the rooms but if I needed to I would stay again if I didn't have to book a min of two nights

I recently dined here with 4 of my friends. We were at Bribie for a wedding and when googling for a place to have breakfast, Lucanella Cafe was the best, so we figured it's gotta be a winner.

So we rocked up and was slightly confused of the layout at the front and couldn't really see much signage.
When we did got closer there was no signage mentioning to take a seat so we walked inside and waited for assistance. I think we were standing inside for a good 5mins while 2 staff were inside and they did not even acknowledge us.
We then asked "So do we just take a seat or what?" We got a confused and flustered look and a "yeah whatever you can find" Now they weren't very busy for a Saturday, a few bookings but nothing crazy. As there was 5 off us (4 guys and a girl) we figured we might be slightly squished at one table, so we asked can we join 2 tables together (there was a few free) again we got a flustered look and said "Yeah whatever you can find"
We proceeded to walk outside and sat down. After a good 10mins we still had not even been given some menus, so one of our table went inside to grab some.
We received our food and drinks quite quickly and the food was pretty tasty.
Overall a pretty average experience. They need signs that say "please take a seat and menu" if the staff find it so hard to speak to customers. So if you want great food but pretty average service, then come to this cafe.

A few years ago I would go to Ribbetts quite often with friends however found the quality and the service had gotten pretty average. We thought we would give it another shot for my boyfriends dinner and things have different improved. A few more options now for extras and the ribs were just fantastic. They were a bit slow to start with but then the food wouldn't stop coming.
Was very impressed and would definitely go back.
