The salesman was very helpful when I purchased my HiAce SLWB van. Can’t say the same for the service staff. At the one month check, they ran my vehicle Into the bumper of a hiLux. The staff member was more concerned about telling the Hi Lux owner, than the rear panel they had damaged on my month old Van.
I was promised a suitable vehicle (a Rav 4), while they had mine fixed. This was so I could transport my disabled Son, and his wheelchair. When I arrived to pick up the Rav 4 I was told “this is all we have, the Rav 4 didn’t come back.” It’s this or nothing!”
Basic Customer Service skills, empathy, understanding of disability, are not things the service staff I spoke to at Coburg Toyota, seem to understand or possess!
My “oh what a feeling!” experience evaporated even further when the Service Manager, told me the Dealer Principal was aware of my dissatisfaction, and if I wanted to speak with him I had to “put it in an email”.
OH WHAT A FEELING!
Going from the joy of a brand new van for my Son, to having a van that has been damaged in less than 30 days (and not by me) and customer service that leave you questioning your choice of dealership.
OH WHAT A FEELING!
and NO the Dealer Principal didn’t contact me, even after I asked the Service Manager to have him do so.
