I dined here recently with family, after raving to them about how delicious and amazing the food was here.

We were delighted to discover when we arrived that the restaurant had a special on, 30% off your food bill when dining in!!

Once we settled in, it took us awhile to decide on our entrees & mains as the menu is pretty extensive and all the meals sound appetizing.

In the end we ordered the Peking Duck pancakes for entree - these are delicious!!! The waitress assembled these for us fresh at our table, there's nothing better than freshly made food and we found it entertaining to watch these made right in front of us.

There were four of us dining, and two of us ordered a meal each, the chicken & cashew stir fry and the singapore chilli prawns, with a side of fried rice. The other two diners decided to order 3 main meals between the two of them, being the Baked Seafood Treasure in a whole coconut, Diced fillet steak with honey & black pepper sauce, Secret Duck and a side of fried rice. All of the meals were delicious, but I have to give special mention to the Baked Seafood Treasure, this meal just has the most amazing flavour!!! Both times this has been ordered, many attempts have been made to try and eat the remaining coconut flesh within the coconut bowl - it's just so addictive!!!!

We all managed to clean our plates - almost caving into liking them clean!!

We loved the food and the service here, the manager is actually the one to take our order, he was very helpful when one of our diners couldn't make up their mind on what to order.

We had a great night and an even better meal, we will definitely be back again.

I have been visiting Dr Ngoo for 5 or 6 years now, he is by far the most professional, caring and genuine doctor I have ever come across.

I have referred many family members and friends to see Dr Ngoo as he has proven time and time again, that he is one of the good doctors that actually wants to improve your health, rather than throw any medication he can at you, as many others would.

This doctors surgery also provides acupuncture and skin cancer checks.

Highly recommended.

I recently visited the Carindale store to try on one of their new dresses, and found out they were holding a VIP 40% off sale.

Their clothing are all top quality, gorgeous and really comfortable!!!

After my reliable hairdresser moved away, I was left with the choice of trying a new hairdresser (Shock horror) or leaving my hair till I found a new trust worthy one. A year or so later, with my hair long enough to sit on and looking a mess, I finally built up the courage to try a new hairdresser out. After doing a little (a lot) of research, I came across The Diplomat Hairdressers.

After going without a hair cut for so long, I was very anxious about someone new cutting my hair. But I was looked after very well by Sandy, she gave me a style cut and a new side fringe. I ended up walking out of there feeling like a new woman, thanks Sandy!!

It's hard these days to go watch a new movie, without breaking the budget and spending over $50 just on tickets and movie snacks. This family activity is now considered out of the budget for young families.

But when you visit The Cineplex at Victoria Point, it's a different story. You find yourself being able to afford more than one ticket, and you may have left over money in your budget to buy you and your date a bucket of popcorn, or splurge and buy two with soft drinks!!!

This cinema isn't beaten up and old like a lot of the other ones around that shamelessly charge you $15 and up for a ratty, stained seat to enjoy a new movie in. The quality of the seats at this cinema are excellent, plush, comfortable and enjoyable!!!

I love their version of gold class, and its CHEAPER than the competition, forget about paying $50 a ticket!!!

Another bonus for this cinema, is that you can buy hot food and drinks from their cafe, and take it with you into watch the movie of your choice!!!

No more smuggling Coles and Woolies snacks in your handbags ladies!!!

Awesome location, amazing prices, great seats, definitely coming back!!!

This review is for Sizzler, Cleveland QLD

The last time I visited Sizzler's at Cleveland, was for my young cousins birthday dinner. We were in a party of about 10 adults and children, and most of us ordered a meal that came with the salad bar & and drink. The cost for myself and my partner to dine here cost us over $70 for a steak, soft drink and salad bar each, I think this was overpriced considering the quality of the food, and that Sizzlers used to be known as a place to go to for a cheap, GREAT quality feed. Now I consider Sizzler's the place to go to when I wish to be charged 4 or 5 star restaurant prices, for food that is seriously lacking in quality, freshness and taste.
The worst part of our visit was during the ordering process when you first walk in. My young cousins pointed out the three people lying on the floor of the restaurant near the entrance. There were two people under a table, and the third laying in the open between two tables. When this was brought to the attention of the lady taking our meal orders, she calmly advised that they were just staff members who went out last night that were sleeping as they went out the night before. She actually laughed about it, like it was a normal every day occurrence. After seeing the way the staff members of this "restaurant" behave, I refuse to return to return and spend any money here.
Overall, I think this Sizzlers offers overpriced food and terrible attitudes of the service staff.
Hint to management, I do not go out for dinner so I can see hung over staff members sleeping out in the main restaurant areas. It was disgusting for the young children to see this, to see them point, laugh and ask if that person was dead.

My new Indian hot spot!!!!!!
Decided to try this restaurant as a random pick of vouchers we had from this years Entertainment book.
Well, you are given free poppadums on arrival - and I found these to be the BEST I have ever tasted, and they were free, I love free stuff!!!
There was a large party dining in the restaurant along side us, and I think this drew the waiters attention away from us, and we had to wait a while to have our order taken. Once they realized we were still waiting, they offered us more complimentary poppadums - HEAVEN. These poppadums are filled with fennel seeds, yummmm.
The menu consists of all the regular curries found at an Indian restaurant, but also a few I had never come across, so we dived in and tried two new curries, a punjabi naan and some fish pakora.
Oh my lordy. Every dish we tasted was so full of flavor, so fresh, so delicious and so moreish!!! The fish pakora was crispy on the outside, but so moist and delicate inside and full of flavor. The naan bread was cheesy, so cheesy I took photos of the huge cheese strings you get when breaking the naan apart. DROOL. Then the curries, we ordered these medium, and hallelujah they had heat to them!!!! Hello chilli, finally a restaurant that isn't afraid to add spice to a dish without worrying if the customer was really sure if they wanted their curry medium or hot, if I ask for spice, give it to me!!!!
All in all, great meals, great wine, and I will be back, I now consider this to be my favorite Indian restaurant.

OH, I nearly forgot, complimentary rice with every curry - happy days :)

This review is for Sushi Train, Capalaba QLD

verified email - 15 Jul 2013

Finally a sushi train in the area that I can trust!!! This new franchise of Sushi Train that has opened on Finucane Road @ Capalaba is huge, modern and very appealing.
I tried it out for the first time with my uber fussy friend, she fell in love, and now no other sushi train compares to this one. I found that the serving sizes of the sushi here are bigger, and all of the food is so fresh and delicious. This may be due to the fact that they have only recently opened up shop, but it has impressed my friend and I greatly!!!
The customer service is fast, attentive and polite!
The only down side, is that some of the dishes are more expensive than other stores in the Sushi Train franchise, BUT they make up for it in food quality!!!
Yummy, fresh Sushi!!! I will definitely be going back for more, and more, and more, and more!!! :)

Every time I drive through Cleveland, I always see a sign on the side of the road advertising breakkie for $5.95 with any drink purchase. I have been nagging mum; my boyfriend and anyone else I can bug to join me for breakfast here! Finally my mum agreed to stop in and try it with me!! The Cafe is located inside the IGA store, so it is a little noisy, but the service is quick and friendly. We ordered ourselves a caramel cappuccino and a soy chai latte. Both came out quick and were yummy!! We chatted away as we enjoyed our drinks, and it wasn't until we finished them that we realised our breakfast hadn't arrived yet. So we asked the waitress how much longer, and she looked shocked, apologised and ran to the kitchen to find out what had happened. Turns out our food order never made it to the kitchen; she apologised and offered us another round of hot drinks and asked if we were happy to wait for our meals or would like them to go. We stayed and enjoyed our drinks, which came with a biscuit each this time!!! Yum!! It didn't take long for our breakfast to come out, which was bacon, fried eggs and a piece of toast. Eggs cooked perfectly and bacon utterly delicious. Even though we did wait quite a while for our meal, I would go back again, as they got everything else right. I would love to go back and try their lunch menu some time!!
