CHEAPEST MEALS IN BRISBANE CBD!!!!

I've been coming to this place for a few years now for their awesome take away meals, sushi and juice!!! They offer freshly made sushi, delicious & healthy juices/smoothies, and hot tasty meals. The meals usually range from $6.90 and up, with choices from butter chicken, teriyaki chicken, curry chicken, Thai green curry, and plenty more. These meals are huge and tasty!!!!

Just recently they have started their grab'n'go deals, $5.50 for a meal that's sitting in the hot box ready to go. There are 3 choices, but my favourite is the braised pork with stir fried vegies, the pork is sooooo damn tender. Great, quick meal for all those busy city workers!!

My taste buds and back pocket are in love!!!

Love eating here on work days!!!
They offer a cheap lunch special, with about 10 or so different meals to choose from, which you can add to that entrees and drinks for a great price!!
I dined at Thai Rose yesterday with two work mates, we ordered the chill & basil chicken stir fry - delicious and amazing, Special Fried Rice with Pork & Chilli - Spicy but yummy and I ordered the sweet soy sauce noodles with prawns - to die for, I may become addicted hahaha!!

We were also after a couple of drinks, but the waitress advised they do not serve wine before dinner service - HEART BREAK, then the boss lady arrived and let us buy some glasses of wine, high five!!
Great food, quick meals, great wine, love this place!

My boyfriend and I dined here last Tuesday night, hoping that the steak served here, was better than what we have previously suffered with at Hogs Breath. We found they were priced around the same as them, but we were both very happy with our steaks when they came out, tasty, cooked to our liking, and tender. My only issue was with the steamed vegies and potato jacket that came with my steak. The vegetables were obviously cheap frozen vegies, just like the home brand ones you get from Coles or Woolies, they were flavourless and boring. The meal came with two jacket potatoes with sour cream on top, the first potato I attempted to eat was very over cooked, nearly burnt, leaving the potato so dry. However the second potato was cooked well and was very tasty. I'm assuming the first potato wasn't used after it was first cooked, and was thrown back in the oven for a second time, yuck. I would go back again, I would just definitely avoid the vegies!!

My partner and I had Yum Cha for lunch here recently, and we we happily dined on the goodies as they came around.

The service is pretty good here, we usually eat Yum Cha at Carindale and it can be hard to get the attention of the trolley pushers. Here at Parkland, as soon as they notice you looking their way, they come straight over to you and offer up their delicious goodies!!!

We enjoyed all of our Yum Cha dishes, and will definitely be back again!! We are interested in trying their set buffet menus as well, they all sounded very tasty!!

I absolutely love the Biotherm skin care range! But the only thing I love more, is the service I receive at this Biotherm store. The consultant always throws in free samples and is always very helpful with any questions I have.

Decided to try this place out for takeaway lunch, as everytime I walk past the aromas coming from the staircase down to the restaurant are amazing!!

As soon as I walked into the restaurant I was greeted straight away and offered a table, but once I told him I was after takeaway, he escorted me through the restaurant to a hidden counter on the other side of the room and was shown the takeaway menus as well as the $10 lunch/dinner specials.

I decided to get the chicken with XO sauce with noodles and a Mango Green Tea as my drink, all for just $10. My friend said it did sound like an awesome deal, but that she wonders how big the meal would be.

While waiting for my meal to arrive, we checked out the other menus and special deals, turns out this restaurant is also a Karaoke Bar!!!

When my meal was couriered down the stairs, I had to check the size of my meal out. And I was very happy with the size, it came in one of the medium sized rectangular take away containers, full of yummy spicy noodle goodness!!

Once I got back to work I happily devoured my delicious and refreshing tea, and my spicy, yummy and filling chicken noodle dish!!

I was happy with the service, happy with the food and happy with the price. I will definitely be back again soon!!!!

Cafe Levanto has become somewhat of a favourite place to dine for myself and anyone I can drag to this cafe. It offers $10 lunch specials including steak burgers with a can of soft drink or small coffee. The food is always fresh and delicious!!! I have also discovered that Cafe Levanto has an ADDICTIVE delicous amazing aioli, it's pretty damn good!!! This is a cafe I love taking people to for lunch, coffees or quick catch ups. It can get quite cold towards the back of the cafe though, bring a jacket.

I had lunch here with some work mates recently. We ordered two of the $19 lunch specials that came with a drink, Gnocchi alla boscaiola - DELICIOUS - and the spinach & ricotta ravioli in a mushroom ragout, we also ordered spaghetti con cozze, which came with the largest serving of mussels I have ever seen.

All three meals were tasty, fresh and of ample serving (if not too big). All three of us were very happy with our meals, my friend that ordered the mussel dish was shocked at the size of the meal and told us to help ourselves to her plate, as she had no chance of eating it on her own.

The house shiraz cabernet that came with the $19 lunch deal was tasty as well.

The main meals can be a bit pricey, but the food is definitely amazing. We will definitely be going back again!!!!! Next time I want to try the desserts!!!!

Went to New York Slice for lunch today, obviously had eyes bigger than my belly, I bought two slices of the huge pizza, and it came with a free slice of garlic pizza. Nom nom nom. The Margarita pizza was delicious - a new favourite perhaps and the cheese pizza was tasty as well.

At $7 per slice, with a slice of Garlic pizza thrown in, you can't go wrong!!!!

Nothing like a hit of Nando's peri-peri chicken!!! I visit this Nando's on my lunch breaks and its worth the walk.
I usually get the classic wrap combo with peri-peri chips, and its always fresh, delicious and HOT. Unlike some other Nando's stores, this one fills their wraps up with salad and chicken, so you end up getting your moneys worth for one of these bad boys. The staff at this store are not stingy with their peri-peri salt on the chips either, which makes this one of the best Nando's stores in Brisbane.
