Stop looking and hire Jamie to do it! I can't speak more highly of Jamie's work, his professionalism and the amazing value we received for the work we had done. The whole process was a breeze.
I had tried to do some tiling in our new kitchen myself (terrible idea, esp. with an old house, nothing is level), and got a couple of quotes for someone to finish it off and basically fix-up my bad tiling. I knew it wasn't going to be an easy task, but Jamie was really understanding and didn't make me feel like an idiot (like the other person who quoted us did). He did an amazing job and very efficiently too!
We also got Jamie to tile our new bathroom floor - I had been warned it would be very expensive, as we had bought fiddly octagonal tiles with the tiny diamonds and to make matters worse, the tile store had miscalculated what we needed and it looked like we were going to run short. But Jamie was fantastic and found a way to work with what he had and the finished work in both the bathroom and kitchen looks absolutely AMAZING!
I will definitely be calling Jamie to do any future work for us - he is professional, timely, efficient and very good value for money.

Absolutely delicious souvlakis and excellent value. $10 for a souvlaki that is so packed with ingredients and really fresh, is great. It's also consistently fast and friendly service. I get the falafel souvlaki and my husband usually gets the mixed grill souvlaki (or the island hopper - which includes chips and is huge also delicious). An excellent option for a quick and easy dinner that is fresh, healthy and fills you up - I call the order in on the train on the way home, a couple of stops before Heatherdale and just pick it up on the way past.
Also, just to correct the previous reviewer, they do have the rewards program in place, where I think they 11th one is free - which is a nice bonus.

In my opinion, this is the best fish&chip shop in Ringwood. When we first moved to the area several years ago, we tried a few others but K&K are the standout. The chips are always crisp and delicious, the burgers are awesome and it's great value. The owners are so friendly and cheery, we're always greeted with a smile and excellent service. Orders usually take 10-15 minutes, but if they're busy, they'll say 20, which I appreciate, and I'll just leave the house a few minutes later. FYI - it's also cash only, but as long as you know that, it's not an issue.

Do not underestimate how great this place is - the location in Ringwood Plaza may give the impression it is just a run-of-the-mill sushi place in a shopping strip, but it is so awesome. The service is great (really fast and very polite staff) it's amazing value (about $10-11 for a fresh and relatively healthy dinner is unbeatable) and it's delicious! We also ordered catering from them as part of our wedding and everyone raved about how great the food was.
I don't eat much seafood, but I LOVE the vegetarian bento box, and there is so much in there, I usually have leftovers to take for lunch the next day.
If you don't feel like cooking, but still want something healthy, get Hitoshi - usually ready in about 5 minutes and excellent value.

I can't speak more highly of Heathmont Animal Hospital.
We have 2 dogs that we have been taking to this vet since they were puppies and couldn't be happier with the care and service we get every time we go there.
We're signed up for the VIP program which is a small price to pay for unlimited free consults throughout the year (among other benefits like free nail clipping and annual vaccinations). We usually see Dr Green but Dr Don and Dr Sophia are also excellent. I really appreciate that they don't over-prescribe - if they don't think medications is necessary, they won't recommend it. I know that if I have any questions at all I can call them for advice, or just take the dogs down there to be checked out, because I don't have to pay for the consults (being in the VIP program). Our dogs love going there, and they (and I) always get treated with care and courtesy.
We also get our dogs groomed there and Annette (the groomer) is amazing! Apart from always doing an excellent job on their grooming, she's got a fantastic, natural affinity with animals and the dogs just love her.
