The Nori rolls are great, as is pretty much anything that is already made and on display. Finally good sushi in Ballarat! In saying this, the owner couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag. There is always a queue at lunchtime. Don't even think of ordering anything off the menu as you'll have to wait for at least half an hour...even if you are the only customers in the shop! So buy what you see and it should be tasty, but you'll be in for a serious wait otherwise.

Clean vacate -I had the works: tiled floors, floorboards, cupboards, carpet, oven, bathroom, laundry, toilet. It cost me heaps but I ended up having to clean it again because it wasn't up to standard -not sure if it was just an overly picky real estate agent or that the cleaner did a bad job! I was overall happy with his service and the operator was lovely, but I think next time I'll just do it myself.

Great food, -the servings are huge, so be careful not to order too much! Eg. the mini nachos (approx $11) could feed two. the Spanish tapas is great, ass for the Mexican, sometimes the chicken in the tacos is not great although it's always fresh, occasionally use too much thigh meat for my liking.

always go here as it's close to uni and they have a great deal -a pastie, pie, or 2 sausage rolls and can of drink for $3.50. such tasty pasties. mmm-boy!

coffee was drinkable, food was overpriced but quite nice. a bit meh if you know what i mean. the staff were rude, which is quite a strong deterrent from returning, i don't think i'd bother again.

i lived in china for a considerable period of time, and this is chinese food, but it it BAD chinese food. twice in a row i have attempted to have a meal from here and the first, sweet and sour pork, was okay, and i thought it good value for money. the second time it was a stirfry-type dish that was completely inedible. it was cheap, yes, but it was a total greasy waste of money. also, the owner might not want to criticize the counter staff so clearly in mandarin, just because we are white doesn't mean we can understand your language. she was doing a great job and you were being an ass to her. shame on you!

my parents were visiting me from geelong, so i decided to take them to gc's. bad move, the place was packed (usually a good sign). and we were very patient, we waited for 20 to be served, another 20 for the orders to be taken, and then on top of that about 45mins for the food. to make matters worse, not only was the food expensive, but it was shockingly bad and the only (ironic) positive was that there wasn't much of it there. never again.
Approximate cost: $20
terrible sushi...some of the worst i've ever had in fact. i mean who even thought that sun-dried tomato nori rolls would be a good idea? seriously not a good fusion. also quite expensive.

I had a rental inspection and the grass was up to my waist in my backyard. i couldn't get a lawnmower through it, but i called Jim's and they sent out a guy who was ace. very reasonable price too. :)
