I had my tax return done right before the deadline and I was in a panic because I had just completed in on e-tax when my computer had crashed. I'm not an accountant and I'm terrible with numbers so I took forever with e-tax!

Anyway, my friend referred me to Abacus having been a client there for many years and at first I was reluctant because I just don't trust accountants. I've always thought they charged way too much. Abacus' pricing was very good - probably the cheapest one I've seen (I did a bit of googling before settling with Abacus).

I went over for my appointment with Sue and she was just a lovely lady. The other ladies there were also very friendly! I was really surprised by the atmosphere of the office! (Wow! I'm using a lot of exclamation marks but I just can't stress how surprised I was). I guess I've always believed in the whole accountant stereotype - boring, uninteresting people! Sue and the team at Abacus were completely the opposite!

My tax return was done pretty quickly and very efficiently. I got it in the mail about two days after the meeting. I signed the necessary areas, dropped it back into the office and paid for their services and they lodged it immediately. My refund from the tax office was a lot more than I expected! There were so many things that I would have missed out on claiming if I hadn't seen Sue. I'll be leaving the stress of tax returns for Abacus from now on!

Overall, I had a fantastic experience and I'm definitely coming back next year and the many more years to come. I highly recommend you do the same too! : ) You'll be so surprised as to how spot on I was when describing my experience!
