When I first noticed I had trouble hearing I was not yet 50 and I was finding it difficult to accept . I had various free tests done at the shopping centres and knew I had a problem but kept ignoring it. I would nod and smile a lot and was embarrassed when I had to ask people to repeat themselves so often . Eventually I found Raji- My Audiologist and she helped me to accept my problem and set about finding the best solution for me. I had a choice to hear or not to hear and only I could make that decision.
I found her to be patient,honest and caring and was able to try different hearing aids till I found one suited me and my needs .
