This review is for Jaffa By Rob And Allen, Woonona NSW

Went back to Jaffa as a friend's daughter was doing some work experience and wanted to show some support.

I ordered a coffee and it came out fairly quickly. Nice coffee at a reasonable price $4, nicely presented with a jaffa on the spoon.

When I went to pay, despite there being no one else at the counter, I was ignored, it felt like all staff members were avoiding eye contact. A friendly comment of "be with you soon" would have been nice.

While waiting I saw a staff member serving up a coffee by putting her ungloved hand into the Jaffa jar and putting the Jaffa on the plate - despite there being a spoon in the jar to fish them out.

I ended up asking if anyone was going to take my money. I felt that I was interrupting!

Another odd thing I noticed was the way the burgers were served, with a steak knife stabbed through the centre. Maybe that is the new way?

Another disappointing experience at this café.

Approximate cost: $4

Food was great, flavours were amazing. Service was a little slow though to be expected on a Saturday night.

We shared a platter for 2, my husband is a big eater and we were both satisfied.

Will definitely go back.

Approximate cost: $15 - 20

Great experience!

Very expensive and quite time consuming to actually get to the climb but as a one off it is an experience not to be missed.

All the staff were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing.

I would definitely recommend this to tourists and would stringly suggests locals give it a go at least once as well.

These guys really went out of their way for our lost dog.

She was microchipped, but we had moved and forgotten to change our address and phone numbers. The Vet tracked us down and held her until we could go in and get her.

He offered free advice on a lump he noticed on her, had fed her and she was VERY happy. He wouldn't accept any money for food.

While the vet was very "intense" and we did feel very chastised about not changing her rego, I love that he is so passionate about his work and animals.

This will be our new vet for all our animals.

Requested a quote one day and had the tyres fittes by the next morning, very flexible on timing.

A good, easy, friendly transaction as you would expect but don't always get.

I wouldn't have tried this place without a voucher as I think it is too expensive. Even with the large meal of 2 entrees, 2 curries and 2 rices, which is supposed to feed a family of 4, we found to hard to share 1 Samosa and 1 piece of chicken (the 2 entrees!).

However .... the flavours were exceptional, it beats any other Indian style place we have in the area easily, so we will probably go back again as a special meal, but it wouldn't be our regular take away place - purely price driven.

One thing I found annoying was not being able to find a menu online for ease of ordering, and as the range of dishes is small, it was not as easy job trying to get an order in.

Entrees were $3.50 each and only contained 1 piece
Rice was $5 a container - would probably make my own to add next time
Large mains were around $17 to $19 each.
Garlic naan was $4 a piece and the pieces were on the small side without much garlic.

Approximate cost: $18 for a large main

Bought a voucher from Living social to try out this salon. It was a lovely, luxurious experience.

I was offered coffee, tea, hot chocolate on arrival and also received a little chocolate cupcake to go with it.

The stylist was very friendly, listened to what I needed and did a great job. she also gave a great head massage.

It was nice getting the left over hair treatment (in a tube) to take home to finish.

The only down point is that parking was a bit awkward as it is right on a corner on the highway.

Approximate cost: $53

Wes Cuthbert is fabulous. Both my husband and I go whenever we have something not quite right and he can usually fix us up in only 1 or 2 sessions.

He is not like the typical practitioner I have come across that uses most of the hour for heat treatment and ultrasound. He actually looks at how you are moving, does some manipulation or whatever you need, and gives follow up instructions for exercises/activities at home. The whole hour is spent just on you as a patient, he really cares (or seems to).

We have moved from the area, but still drive the distance to see him.

Had 2 different cakes from here and found both to be a bit ordinary.

For the price, I expected something with a big wow factor, these seemed to be a bit stodgy.

Staff were friendly and the order was processed promptly.

I did a month with Jason on a special package.

He was very easy to work with, very pleasant and professional.

He covered off injuries, body alignment and posture, diet and exercise.

The only reason I did not continue was the location - being in Wollongong, parking was an issue plus it was just a bit too far from where I live.
