We booked a table for 4. Order was taken quickly as we informed them that we were going to see a show and didn't have much time. 2 entrees and 4 mains ordered. Entrees and 3 mains arrived at different times. 4th never arrived. When we informed staff, we were told that the dish had been prepared and had left the kitchen but had gone to the wrong table. We were short of time by now, the other 3 mains were almost finished. Our 4th person never got a meal by the time we had to leave for the show. They still tried to charge us though. Very disappointed at the service. None of the staff noticed that we were short 1 meal at our table even though we ordered additional drinks half way through.

On the plus side the food was quite nice, hot and fresh.

Great location, great views, great food, great service. Friendly staff, and fantastic ambiance. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And the cider and merlot were to die for. Certainly will go there again and will be recommending to all my friends.

Was looking forward to catching a late movie with hubby and friends. $16 for a bottle of water and 2 ice creams, almost fell over. Got into the movie theatre to almost step on a mouse. Spent the rest of the movie waiting for a mouse to run up my leg

Service was great, food was hot and just the right amount. Decor needs a bit of a fix up, but overall a very nice restaurant, reasonable prices and great food.

What a joke this business is. My husband gave me a voucher after a recent serious illness and hospital stay, such a darling, but to this day i have absolutely no call back from this business, despite repeated phone call several times a day and messages on that blasted machine and emails sent over the past few months. The voucher is now close to expiry. I rang the fitness centre that the Canninvale store is located in, only to be told they are closed and that they get calls like this every day. And there is no re-open date. So frustrating. My husband keeps asking if i am going to use my voucher, but i dont have the heart to tell him he has been jipped. If an employee or the owner of Sparadise Canningvale or Rivervale is reading this, please contact your customers when they leave a message...its only good business, and of course it is polite.
