this is one of my favourite Pubs when I am in Manly. The food I find fantastic, atmosphere delightful and its a really nice place to chill and relax after work or if you have been touring around all day. It is especially nice in the warmer weather and with a great group of your mates. Definelty check out this place

I have been to Manly Backpackers several times over the years and I enjoy it more and more each time I go. It is one of the cheaper backpackers in the area but it is so much fun! There is a little courtyard where there is a bbq vending machines and tables where you can relax with a few beers. You meet all kinds of people from all over the world there and its fascinating listening to their stories of travels etc. It is fairly close to the Corso (shopping drag) and close to manly whalf. If you're up for fun and good times here is the place to be! Most of the tours operated in the area will pick you up from here as well. The staff here are so lovely! They make you feel welcome and make sure you are comfortable during your wait. Their waiting time isn't too bad (longest I've sat there is 30 min) and they have an awesome motorbike chair for the children to sit on whilst getting their hair cut. It is a very pleasant atmosphere and is very clean despite all the hair cutting that gets done! Great prices as well!

Best and Less are know for cheaper clothing and really nice clothes from birth to adults. They cater for both male and female and they also sell accessories. The only thing I don't like about their clothing is that the sizing is really strange. for example, if my child fits into a size 5 I would need to buy 2 sizes up for them to fit into the clothing comfortably. They do have lots of bargains especially with socks undies and other clothing depending on the season you go in. I find this place is fantastic to buy newborn and baby clothes as they are absolutely adorable! If you are in the area check it out

This shop has just about everything you could imagine in here! Cat toys, dog toys, worming and flea treatment....dog beds, cat beds gym equipment for cats...food! It would be like Christmas for any animal that walked in there! The staff are very friendly willing to help and great with giving advice.

I went into this shop to get a birthday gift for someone. They had a large variety of clothing and accessories but nothing that grabbed my attention. So I decided to get a gift voucher instead. I waited for up to 15 minutes while one of the staff members was talking on the phone. I assumed it was a customer but later realised that it was a work colleague talking about what was happening at work. I ended up walking out of the shop and I found something else for a gift. Wouldn't recommend going there unless you are happy to wait.

I looked absolutely everywhere for a toy box for my baby (that was on the way) and then I found this shop just outside the town centre which had some big and beautifully made toy boxes! They also sell bedroom settings that were very nice and dining room settings as well. They are reasonably priced and the staff are lovely and willing to help you with all of your questions.

Kids Ahoy is amazing!! They have a big playground for the older children and a 'babies' playground for young babies who are crawling. There is a jumping castle there as well which the children love jumping on! There is a ball pit slides and lots of climbing equipment. They also have a café there to get drinks and food. Its quite a large selection of foods and all very yummy! The best part is that they have party rooms for children where they can go in and eat open presents and sing happy birthday e.t.c. they have 4 of these rooms. Worth the money or if having a party there or just a play

I checked out this place for the first time not so long ago. Went with a couple of girlfriends to check out some of the nightlife in mornington. It was an interesting place. was busy nicely set up inside. It wasn't really an environment that I personally didn't enjoy. Cant quite put my finger on why though! Drinks were pricey (but aren't they all these days) and they played some good music.

I took my daughter to Gumbuya Park for her 4th Birthday. I was heavily pregnant and did not want to do a party for her this time around. It was the most amazing place! There are animals galore! They have birds, dingos, wallabies, kangaroos, ponies, koalas... They also have amusement rides such as a tabogan, racing cars, pony rides, paddle boats... They also have a picnic area cover and non covered where we watched the peacocks strut around. Fabulous day and a definite must see!
