This review is for Lelley's Coffee House, Hastings VIC

We had breakfast here for my first time going into this place. It has a lovely set up with a beautiful outside (out the back) setting which is clean, open and inviting. The breakfast menu looked fabulous and was difficult to choose anything from it as it all sounded so yummy! They also serve your tea and coffee as well as hot chocolate and the baby chinos for the children. They are a little pricey but I find it worth it as the meals were absolutely beautiful!! would be a very nice place to go in the summer when its warm and you can relax out the back

I have been with Tallons Real Estate for quite a few years now as a Renter and they have been absolutely fantastic! If I have ever had a problem they are quick to deal with it as well as providing advice and help when needed. The staff are friendly and very willing to help you to find or do something that will suit your needs. They have a lot of available properties to buy and for rent so you should be able to find something to your liking! I just love the fact they are quick to fix or do anything that you need done. Definitely head in there if you're looking around at properties. They have some nice ones!

Has just about everything you need without having to go into the nearest town. Milk, bread, smokes some pantry items. They can be fairly pricey but hey, if you need it you cant complain! They also have a modest alcohol section where you can purchase most brands and they also sell lollies, chips, ice creams.. the usual stuff your children want to eat! Situated across the road from the train station on the corner so its perfect for if you get off the train and on your way home if you need to grab something. Its on the way to stony point so most people pop in and grab what they need for the day down there.

This review is for Bittern General Store, Bittern VIC

I love going to the Bittern General Store I watched them pull down the old one and rebuild the new one but luckily the same staff stayed on. They know my name and my children's names and are always polite and know how to treat their customers. I enjoy their food (especially the souvalaki's!!) We go every Thursday after I pick up my daughter from Kinder and when we walk in the always know what we want for our lunch. This is how good they are and they know how we like it. They have a variety of food and drinks ranging from cakes, salad rolls etc to milk juice and soft drink. Very popular on a sunday morning as Bittern market is going.

This review is for Kalbarri Tudor Caravan Park, Kalbarri WA

WOW!! We absolutely loved this caravan park on our travels!! It was big, clean and very inviting! A beautiful pool to relax and play in, a well set up bbq area for patrons. The best experience was waking up (very early by my standards!) and seeing the kangaroos grazing 5 metres away from our camper van. You see lots of kangaroos around the grounds especially at dusk. It is more a family orientated caravan park and the staff and patrons were very friendly. A must stay place!

This review is for Plantation Caravan Park, Carnarvon WA

A very affordable family orientated caravan park situated in Carnarvon. It has a small pool which is perfect for cooling off after travelling around all day. And a very grassy area. Toilets/bathrooms secure as you need a card to enter them. It feels like a small town there as most of the guys there worked on the Plantations surrounding and offered patrons avocados (yum!) bananas or whatever else they had picked throughout the day. They have a lovely bbq area with a radio and tv which were being played in the background. Its only downfall as all the cicadas that would fly in your face constantly!! It was lovely to wake the next morning with the galahs and other birds feeding on the ground so close to where we were sleeping. I love the fact it was son affordable.

This review is for Hotel Rottnest, Rottnest Island WA

On our road trip in W.A we decided to go to Rottnest Island on the Ferry. I wasn't a big fan of the Ferry there and back because I got sea sick!! Haha. But wow what a wonderful experience! We got on the bus that goes around the island to all the different parts of the Island. We didn't have much time to get off at places as we got there close to lunch time and the ferries only run until a certain time. It was a very pretty Island where you could bike ride around the island as well but I recommend that you be fit to do this as there are quite a few hills!! We especially enjoyed the Museum that was there and an elderly gentleman happily explained all the artefacts that were in there. The church was beautiful and had a lovely garden attached. There is also like a little town situated on the water front with some shops and food stores. My daughter really wanted an ice cream so we got one though the service in that particular shop was quite slow...enjoying our ice cream until a peacock approached me daughter and took her ice cream!! There is also a lot of Quokkas on the island which my daughter loved and they seemed to love her too! This place is a definite must do if you are ever in the West :)

This review is for Coal Creek, Korumburra VIC

verified email - 13 Aug 2013

I visited Coal Creek for the first time after travelling past it for many years on my way to see the in laws. This little place was fantastic to explore. I took my 4 year old daughter, 4 year old nephew and 7 month old daughter. It showed the little coal town like it was when it was working. They have volunteers that work there who show you how they did things the old way such as wool spinning. And they even had the general store like it was. They also have a running train but you need to have cash to pay for a train ride. There are no eftpos facilities so you defiantly need to have cash on you. The kids enjoyed exploring and trying entice the ducks to come over for a pat!

This review is for La Lupa Pizza & Pasta, Tyabb VIC

You have never had a real pizza unless you try the pizzas at La Lupa!! Yes they are pricey but I tell you what! They are so worth paying that kind of money! They cater for all and the service is fantastic!

This review is for Koala Conservation Centre, Cowes VIC

verified email - 11 Aug 2013

I had never been here before so it was a first for me when I took my children to Phillip Island. We got a 3 parks pass which included Churchill Island, Koala Conservation Centre and the Penguin parade. Works out much cheaper. My oldest daughter really enjoyed the tree top board walk where she got really excited every time so saw a Koala! They also had a bush walk too which you could take your time walking around experiencing the bushlands. We even saw some wallabies! this place has a small picnic area outside of the Centre and they also have a wonderful gift shop.
