I love how they use this place for the racing season and to have markets on. They have arts, crafts, plants, clothing and yummy food stalls. There is also usually live music and the best bit for the kids is a playground which is pretty exciting for them. I love how its all bushland surrounded and its peaceful and relaxaing

I used to go to these doctors for years until it got too expensive to see them. The doctors are fantastic though and I wish I could of afforded to still go there. The doctor I saw through my pregnancy was fantastic. he was thorough on the ball and gave advice when needed. After my first daughter was born at our 6 week check up he picked her heart mumour and clicky hip and sent us tstraight off to where we needed to go. The only problem I find with here is that the waiting time was far too long going up to 2 hours waiting your appointment. But other than that they are great!

I have been using this service for a few months now as my daughter see the counsellor there. They offer a range of support services including dental, maternal health nurse, drug and alcohol groups, healthy eating etc. Definitely worth looking into you are needing support or to see the dentist of the maternal health nurse. The staff are always very friendly and willing to help you in any way they can.

They have so many things in this place!! They have the usual newspapers most types, magazines ranging from women to men's and other types. They also have a book shop at the back of the shop which have some really cheap and good books. You can also pick up stationary from there and quite reasonable prices. Its in a great location right in the middle :)

I started coming here when it was a last minute decision to get a cuppa and some morning tea. It is situated right next door to Kmart in Hastings so you cant miss it (perfect for after all that shopping in kmart!!). They sell hot drink and cold drinks. Yummy ice cream, hot breakfasts and they do have lunch items. They also sell cakes sandwiches and rolls. They are quite well priced and the food is quite delicious. So if you need some freshening up after shopping in kmart then this is the place for you. Before I forget, for the children they also have baby chinos!

This place has the most amazing ice cream!! They have over 25 different flavours and they also have lactose free ice cream for those who cant have dairy. you can get the ice cream in a cup, cone or waffle cone. Perfect for a hot summers day or even a treat when visiting in the area. Its also in the perfect location being across the road from the foreshore or you can sit outside the shop at the tables provided. If you love ice cream then this is one place you need to stop at!

I went here for the first time ever since I go to Tooradin regularly. An older gentleman served me as I was getting some hot chocolates. The Staff were pleasant, helpful and very chatty which was very nice. They serve meals here but don't have a large variety but i'm sure they are very nice! I also brought some drinks for the kids and he packed them into a bag and opened the door for me so it wasn't difficult to get out with full hands! Lovely service and lovely on the inside. I will definitely be going there again when I am in Tooradin next!

Nothing like going to a bakery to grab some fresh bread or to get a pie for lunch or a yummy sweet snack! Hastings Bakery have all of the above mentioned plus rummy freshly made up salad rolls. The pies literally melt in your mouth and leave you full before even finishing the pie! They also serve cold drinks and tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

A weekly family ritual for my little family as we only live around the corner! Bittern market has a bit of everything there From a coffee stall to a local bakery, a couple of candle businesses and a few plants stall keepers. Every couple of weeks the 'fish man' comes where you can buy all sorts of sized fish as well as other pet/animal products. Then you have your usual brick a brack stuff. I regularly find the books I have been wanting to read and a good price. Some of the stalls have lucky dips for the children quite cheap and they have some lovely little surprises inside of them which the children really do seem to enjoy. Its only a small market but when its a nice day it can get quite busy! I love at Easter and Christmas time they have the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus wandering around the market meeting with the children and giving them little treats. Its a special little community. One i'm proud to be a part of.

This to me would be easily the best fish and chip shop in Hastings. The staff are friendly and take your order and double check they have it all correct. They can get fairly busy all year around but they really do one of the nicest foods. They have salads which you can get on its own or in a pack deal they have. They also have their fresh fish on display and they make hamburgers and all the usual foods that you find in a fish and chip shop. I also enjoy their steak sandwich!
