This review is for Phillip Island Nature Park - Penguin Parade, Ventnor VIC

The Penguin Parade is a MUST!! especially if you have young children. We had our photo taken which was quite reasonably price to mark the occasion. There is also a café which we really didn't find appetising (but maybe we were just all very excited!!) it also had a couple of gift shops and a beautiful long boardwalk down to the beach where you could witness the Penguins coming in for the night. The children were all very excited and the Park Ranger was fantastic filling in the time talking about Penguins and their behaviours which was great for the children!

I hadn't been to Phillip Island in many years, so this past Easter I took my daughter's to Phillip Island to explore some where new for them! The Nobbies is fantastic! It has the lovely walkways along the cliff where we saw the blow hole and quite a lot of birds!! They also have a great interactive section for the children to learn about what swims in these particular waters and what they eat etc. They also had a big t.v. screen where you can manoeuvre the binoculars and find the seals that are resting on seal Rock! They have a café where you can get something hot to eat and drink as well as a small indoor playground for the children to play in. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase so many things!! Great little souvenir gifts which my children love! I must do for families :)

Kings Creek Hotel is a traditional place to go for Birthdays. Whilst I enjoy their meals I do find them a bit pricey. They have a games arcade, children's playground (with a really cool tram attached to it), bistro, pokies area and a sports bar. The little something for everyone! They have also recently started hosting children's birthday parties too which i'm looking forward to experiencing with my 5 year old daughter. A definite check out :)

The Baxter Tavern is in a lovely secluded spot in Baxter. It has a drive through bottle shop and a pokies area. It also has a restaurant which serve the most wonderful food. You have the choice of a starter and main or main and dessert. they also have a salad bar YUM!!! The service can be at times a little slow but I believe their food is worth the wait. There is no playground for the children to play in but they are very accommodating for children providing high chairs where needed and there is also a nappy changing area. I especially enjoy their pastas and my daughter enjoys their fish and chips. Definitely the place to go if you want to enjoy a lovely meal out with friends or partner.

We especially enjoy their pastas and the choice for the children's meals. Its a very enjoyable place to enjoy a nice relaxing meal

I changed to Coles Supermarket approx. 12 months ago as I find them cheaper and I get more for my money. I was walking out with nearly double compared to shopping at other supermarkets. They have a wider variety and you can buy 2 things for the price of 1. I'm on a tight budget and these bargains keep my cupboards, fridge and freezer filled up.

This review is for Pelican Park Recreation Centre, Hastings VIC

Both of my girls do their swimming lessons at Pelican Park. My oldest who is 5 has been doing lessons since she was 6 months old and my youngest who is 9 months since term 2 (6 months) The swim teachers are amazing. My oldest had very little confidence in the pool after an incident and her teacher at the time worked with her till she gained that confidence back. My youngest wasn't a water baby at the start and her teacher showed her how fun it was in the water. After a few weeks as soon as she got into the water she would begin to splash. They are absolutely amazing there!

I love kmart! I love the low prices and the variety of what they have in store. I buy all of my children's clothes from kmart which are cheap and wear well. My children grow out of the clothes before it gets ruined. It is also the perfect place to find the perfect gift for any occasion.

Have only been here twice, but both times I have found the food reasonably priced and the taste is amazing! the service is a little bit slow but the food really tastes like its a home cooked meal. The open grilled sandwiches tastes absolutely amazing and same as their omelettes for breakfast time.
