Yummy Cambodian food with a great calming atmosphere awaits you here. The decor adds to the Cambodian feel. The food is delightful although not huge serves. It is just off the main promenade.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Just remember it is on the top floor of the Crossbar. You will never be disappointed with the food. It is great value for money and the service is exceptional. The decor is modern with a twist of Asian decor. I'll be back again.
Approximate cost: $30 for a main
This place is in a great location if you just want to chill and watch things go by on Lygon Street. The food is always terrific and is very good value for money, especially if you're on a student budget. A good dining experience.
This is a great place with traditional German food. The atmosphere is great if you don't mind a tacky German band singing along. Service is great and decor is very German.
Approximate cost: $22-28 mains
I am not a huge fan of smorgasbord but if you are, then this is your place. The location is set in the Dandenong ranges and it is a stunning drive, although if you are driving late at night, remember it no well lit. The atmosphere is great and the band gets you into a few games
My dinning experience here was excellent. Although the food was expensive, taste was great. As a wedding venue, it was a beautiful location. The Marquee with sights of the beautiful trees lining St Kilda Road and trams passing by, were truly Melbourne. If you're numbers exceed 100, I would not suggest having a dance floor inside.
Approximate cost: $Entrees $12-15, Mains $25-$35, Desserts $11-14
I had a small wedding function here early in the year and was really impressed with several things. The food was brilliant and the I must say the chocolate soufflé was to die for, the service was outstanding and the decor made me feel like I was back in France. It is a a very romantic setting and I will be definitely back again
Approximate cost: $Expensive???? E
I had been a Duffy's customer since 1996 and was always really impressed with the service and quality. As time has gone by, prices have increased as expected but was most disappointed when there were 2 price increases within a year. I didn't feel like a valued customer and don't intend on going back unless they charge reasonable prices. But if you're prepared to pay a fortune, then go ahead, you won't be disappointed.
Approximate cost: $160-$180 for cut, colour high lights, blow dry on medium to long hair
If you remember the old Humpty's Pizza place in Taylors Lakes Shopping Centre, well you're in for a surprise when you arrive here. This place has been magically transformed into a truly impressive cafe by day and Restaurant by night. Tinted windows allow for outsiders to not peer inside and the location (inside the shopping centre) is barely noticeable because of this. It has mainly Australiana cuisine but the Italian feel to the place, service by older owner/s and great atmosphere make it an experience you'll never forget. There is nothing like this in the area (e.g.Not like Slices or Dicaprios or TAB venue).
Approximate cost: $40 for 2 mains
Trucare Dry cleaning at Watergardens Shopping Centre is cheap compared to other chain drycleaning service in Melbourne.
The service is great and I was impressed that the attendant knew what she was talking about.
Approximate cost: $19 for a silk dress, $10.50 for ties, $28 for 4 garments
