So far for me, this site's proved to be a more pleasant environment in which to trade than eBay has been for a long time! I've only been a member for about 3 months but have had friendly, ethical sellers and even made a few sales!

I've found their system user-friendly, easy enough to figure out, however the forums are a great place to find assistance if you need it, without the general rudeness to be found elsewhere.

These days, there seems to be plenty of variety among the items for sale - more so than when i first visited over a year ago, and there's a very friendly community spirit.

This site is gaining support and momentum, so i'll be around to dig in for the long haul, unless the big boys get greedy ;-) ROCK ON, OZtion!!

The majority of my personal buying and selling experiences over nearly seven years were good ones - some bad apples in there, as with most things - however, the company itself leaves a lot to be desired! It's insulting to receive ridiculous, meaningless robotic responses to enquiries or requests for assistance; it's also insulting to the general Australian public for the .au membership to be used as guinea-pigs for new policy proposals; it's further insulting to be charged more for services than other O/S countries; it's greedy and arbitrary to impose the one mandatory payment method on members, when this payment-medium is a subsidiary company of the business in question here. It's grossly insulting for them to think they can convince members this policy is intended to "improve the buying experience" when it's actually just an additional money-making scheme for the shareholders. With recent policies, they've also made decent sellers the easy targets of scamming, non-paying buyers. They're hypocritical, in that they'll only enforce certain policies that don't cost them a few more of the almighty $$$$, for example, although fake designer items are "not allowed" to be sold through the site, while ever eBay are collecting fees from rogue sellers, you can report them till you're blue in the face, without result! I've also found that items are no longer always cheaper than in retail shops.
The majority of the Aust. public are not backward idiots, nor are we a bunch of bleating sheep!
