Shane did a fantastic job of making our 15 year old oven look sparkling and new. We got SMS messages letting us know his ETA, he took his shoes off at the door (without being asked), he was polite and friendly, and he left no mess behind. And on top of this, the cleaning was done without needing toxic chemicals. Highly recommended for the result and the experience.

Angel really knows his stuff. He got an old split system working better than ever - it gets the room warmer now on a setting of 23 degrees than it used to when set to 29 degrees. Thoroughly recommended if you need an aircon repairing.

I had a very negative experience with Melwide Electrical. I found them to be unreliable and deceptive.

They gave me a fixed price quote to repair my air conditioning. The techs themselves were friendly enough, but the repaired unit failed within a week of the repair.

Melwide told me I would have to pay for another expensive part to make good their repair. I refused to pay extra, because the repair work had been fixed-price and warrantied.

After a few days Melwide agreed to acquire the new part and re-repair the unit at no additional cost to myself. Unfortunately, having told me that they'd ordered the new part, they tried but failed to get the unit working again. They were forced to admit that they hadn't ordered the part, as I'd been led to believe, but they had instead tried some sort of workaround.

Melwide reverted to saying that they would not re-repair the unit unless I paid for the additional part.

After 2 months and four visits from their technicians, I still have a broken air conditioning unit and I am out of pocket for the 'repair' work.
