I highly recommend Angel. He was professional, dedicated and provided great customer service. We had an old air-con unit that needed replacement. Angel arrived on time for both the quote (which was very reasonable) and installation, was proactive in confirming our installation date and explained everything we needed to know. The job itself took an extra day of work because of a difficult wall cavity, not only did Angel stick by his quote but made sure the job was done right. I am very happy I hired Angel for the install.

Angel came on the same day I called him to fix our Daikin split system aircon for us. He spent two hours, charged us a very reasonable rate with no call-out fee, was the most pleasant contractor I have ever met, and did his job efficiently, pleasantly and competently. Angel investigated the cause of one of my domestic AC units not working which he was able to find the fault, and importantly fixed. He also serviced 3 other units. He arrived on time. I thought he was professional and seemed to be an honest guy (my personal experience is that I cannot say this for all tradies I have encountered). Consistent with other reviews here, Angel also took the time to clearly explain to me what the issues were and what he was going to do to fix them. I must admit that I did find his pricing system confusing (the variable component measure was by hour but was calculated by individual job performed). Having said that, the price was reasonable. Overall, I was happy with Angel's service and would use him again.

My Lennox ducted air con wasn't working and it was going to be 41 C the next day, I called Angel and he rearranged his day to help me out. He arrived when he said he would and identified the problem quickly. He arranged for the parts and returned in the afternoon to fix the air con and had it working again. Angel will be my first call if my air con needs any repairs in the future!

My ducted aircon stopped working and I called Angel on a boiling hot day thinking that it would be days before he could make it. Instead he told me he could get there on the same day, gave me an estimated time and even called me when he knew he was going to be later than expected.

He went out and checked the system and before looking at it properly, he gave me a few scenarios of what it could be. Straightaway he knew what it was and fixed it. Then he came into the house to look at the system further and realised that I had a very dirty return air filter and cleaned it for me.

he was friendly and very informative about the system and how to maintain it.

We have a split system and the aircondition stopped working when he had the last heat wave. I could not find anyone to come but when I called Angel he was very helpful and came the next day first thing in the morning. Despite having bad news for me, the compressor stopped working, he did not any unnecessary work. He was very professional, punctual and honest and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

In the midst of Melbournes heatwave out evaporative cooling system died, but of course I didn't know this until I got home from work, and most repairers were closed. I found Angel on WOMO and called - he answered and told me he could be on site the following afternoon. He turned up when he said he would, quickly confirmed that the water pump had died and went of to source a new one. He found one, but it was now 6pm - no problem - he returned, finished the job - took the time to show me how to go about cleaning the unit and off he went home. Service was way above and beyond what I expected. If you want an electrician or air conditioning specialist who will do the job thoroughly, explain what the problem is and not rip you off, call MeCool.

I contacted Angel at MeCool based mostly on other womo.com.au reviews. I had a window air conditioner that had suddenly stopped working and the temperature in the next few days was forecast to hit 38 degrees. The other factor in calling him is that Angel is an electrical contractor as well as an air conditioning specialist, so if the problem was electrical I didn't have to call in anyone else or pay extra callout fees.

I contacted Angel by SMS on Saturday and gave an outline of the problem, including the aircon unit model number. He looked up the model and let me know about parts availability straight away, and we arranged for him to come out on Monday morning to check the existing unit and the electrical connection.

Angel arrived on time. The problem took a while to diagnose due to the very dodgy electrical work done when the property was rewired by another company a few years earlier. I believe Angel when he said the problem lay in the way the circuits had been connected on the board because it is not the first time I've had a problem related to the rewiring job which was done almost entirely by apprentices.

Angel disconnected the aircon, pulled apart the wiring including tracing the wiring in the ceiling, located the problem with the circuit and fixed it.

He tidied up afterwards, and was polite and pleasant throughout, despite the rather frustrating diagnostic issues.

Angel's set callout fee was $88 and for the time he was here, he charged me a fraction of what was paid for the electrician who installed the air conditioner in the first place.

I'm very pleased with Angel. I've already passed his details on to a friend and I'd thoroughly recommend him.

No call out fees. Very helpful. Very professional. Excellent diagnosis. He found the real problem, fix it and save me $$$ and time. Prior to his service, another company charged us $190 and diagnosed it wrongly which ended up advising us to replace a working component for $550. Luckily, we found MeCool who efficiently resolved the aircon problem for only $176. Well done MeCool!

Repair air conditioning. Angel expertly describe the problem at hand and provide different options to resolve the issue. During the consultation, he discovered various different problems from the previous installation. While we are not the expert to judge rather Angel or the previous electrician is correct, Angel did provide a very detail explanation which is logical and sound. The end result is that our air conditioning perform much better than before. Price he charge is very reasonable as well.
