Supper Inn serves an amazing range of mostly Cantonese food. It is fairly cheap and always packed, a great place for a casual dinner in the city. The rice just keeps coming and endless chinese tea is a perk.

We recently had a great night at Ishiya, the staff were attentive and explained the stone grill process clearly to us novices! They had a great wine list and the food was delicious. We were disappointed that the tuna was not available, but pleased that we didn't get it when the waitress told us that it was poor quality so they weren't cooking it.

My favourite Thai takeaway. The eggplant dish is excellent, we also get the green chicken curry fairly often. The food is ready fast and its very tasty. The restaurant is always busy too, which seems a good sign!

Indian Star is my favourite local takeaway. I usually get the lamb with lentils (Daal Gosht), its delicious but the chicken makhani and other classics are great too. They always have your food ready quickly and are friendly and polite. Never eaten in before.

The boathouse is a nice place to meet for a drink or stay for dinner. The pizzas are great and there is a selection of other meals too. Sometimes they have free dessert nights, but you have to get in early before it runs out!

A lovely place to meet for a coffee or lunch, looking out over the Maribyrnong River. Te nursery is well designed and includes a large area for fruit trees, as well as a great range of native plants. The garden statues and sculptures also add to the atmosphere.

Fresh on Young carries a great range of deli items, frozen goods, meat and diary as well as fruit and vegetables. Their produce is always fresh and I can do most of my shopping here instead of the supermarket, supporting a family business.

The guys at Epsom Rd vet really reassured me when my dog had to undergo surgery. They explained everything that I needed to do to get puppy back on her feet and have been great during all her checkups too.

I did not have a positive experience at Biba. They seemed in a hurry to get me out, not even straightening my hair properly. They didn't listen to what I wanted either. All in all, it was a disappointing experience and I wouldn't go back.

The girls at Je'Suis immediately made me feel right at home with their friendly conversation. They listened to what I wanted and didn't try to push me into anything I wasn't sure about. They showed me how to dry my new do properly, taking time to show me all the steps.
