I frequent this cafe for work breakfasts, mainly because they have delicous coffee which is always a must on a work morning. The cafe is pretty relaxed, and breakfasts are quite big and cooked to order so always fresh. We keep going back so it must be good!!!

Basil Leaves is down nea the river and is a really nice place for a lunch where you can sit outside and chat. Book ahead and get a table ouside because the atmosphere is so much nicer. The food is really quiet nice with Asian dishes on offer

This was recommended to us by a friend who said to go on a Sunday as they are well known for their roasts so we went on a Sunday and yes, their roast was really yummy. It came with potatoes, gravy, veges, the whole hog. They also do pub meals but I have only ever been for the roast.

Pleasant but nothing to rave about. You can get wood fired pizza's which are nice but I didn't really like their pasta, it was too squishy if that makes sense. Lots f seafood as well and also some western stuff like steaks, chicken etc

The atmosphere at this place is fantastic, they have all this memorbilia which has you mesmorised. It's a real rock place as well so the ambience is pumping. On the menu you can get snack food like chips, wedges and dips etc or they also have a full menu which really cheap like a chicken parma only cost me $17. I had a cocktail here which I didn't really like but that's probably about the only thing i'd really fault

Located in the middle of Freo this place is very convenient and easy to get to but can be very very busy. They do the classic Italian meals like pasta etc but they also do a bit of western and some salads. Great spot for a lunch when you're out with the ladies. I strongly suggest you leave a bit of room and get some of their home made gelato - words can't describs how good it is!

Here they serve Indian food with lots of spices and colours like is standard for Indian food. We went on a Friday because they have smorgasbord (you can get a-la-carte if you want) and we wanted to try all different meals rather than just one or two. The smorgasbord food was lovely and turnover was high so it didn't look like it had been sitting there for ages

This restaurant is a real experience rather than just eating. You can cook at this BBQ hot plate which is in the middle of your table, it's pretty awesome and unique. To get the full experince we went with with BBQ and got the one called 'Bulgogi' which is like sliced lean beef in a soy kind of sauce. Of course you can still order meals if this style isn't for you and they have FREE (woo hoo) parking for restaurant diners

I haven't eaten in the South Perth restaurant but I am a fan of the Applecross one. It has a lovely feeling about it inside, with lovely smiling faces when you enter. The food is very strong in flavour, I can recommend both the saigon-style pork and the pad thai. Vu's special spring rolls are also a favourite entree. Prices range from about 15-25 depending whether you want seafood etc. You can take you own wine but it is licensed so there is plenty there to drink already

I have only ever had the pasta from here because it is home made and to die for. I have tried the one filled with spinach and ricotta and then the sauce is like a ham and mushroom creamy cause, sorry I can't remember the name.
