This is a great place to go if you want that little something different. Heaps of snakes and lizards, puppies come and go. The birds though WOW! There are some really lovely parrots in this store and I would say the prices are reasonable. They have your usual pet requirements as well. Keep an eye out for the cat that sits on the counter! Loves a pat!
I love spicy food and love the food from here although my partner does not like spicy food he manages to eat some of the stuff from here. It is pretty authentic so only go here if you like Indian ( curry's).
I brought a large pot and found that no spoons would reach the bottom when I tried to stir the soups I make. I went in here and found a spoon with longer then usual handle. No more burnt fingers :) They have heaps of stuff that you don't see in other shops. I didn't look at the brewing or cooking ingredients so can't say anything about that.
Gone to this butchers a couple of times and the meat is great. They'll cut it how you want if you ask. Foodland can sometimes be cheaper but you expect that from supermarkets but definitely cheaper then coles or Woolworths. Only problem is the parking!
I went in here the other day and was very surprised at the pricing. I have been in 1 or 2 other stores and have left feeling the clothes were over priced. This particular store I found the quality above average and the pricing was no dearer then any other reasonable charity store. I will definitely be checking it out on regular bases now.
I brought some work shirts here for my partner. I would not say they are cheaper then other stores but the quality is definitely worth the few extra dollars! I've brought the cheaper work shirts and they don't last and don't wash up the best either. These do! I won't be buying them from anywhere else but here!
I always check emails I receive from these guys. If you are thinking of buying anything its worth checking here first. Why pay top dollar when they offer huge discounts on heaps of items. i mainly check out and buy from the Sunday night sales. I've picked up clothes for my rather fussy man at 70% off and same for myself. You don't get that big a discount even an end of year sales instore!
I haven't brought any food here but I do buy the coffee when I'm out and about the town. GREAT coffee! Mind you the food does smell good I'm usually in a bit of a hurry to stop and eat though.
Gorgeous little Hairdressing shop! Looks really expensive from the outside but its no dearer then these chain hairdresser's you see all over the shopping centers. They'll listen to you and do what you want and I don't think they rush you through to get next in. At least I didn't feel like that. Keep eye out for their pamphlets as well cos they give you a $5 discount voucher with them. I recommend these girls, they know how to cut hair and don't charge the earth!
Approximate cost: $27
I never use to go here until I got a catalogue from them & seen Blackberry bush for sale. As far as I knew you weren't allowed to have them. Apparently it's changed! I went there to have a look cos I was definitely interested in my own blackberries. They were so helpful explaining how big they get & if you can leave them in pots etc. Now I always drop in and have a look when Im looking for plants. Prices are actually pretty good as well. Just as good as bunnings and they are suppose to be cheaper.
