Our table ordered various drinks - a flat white, a cappuccino, a latte and an iced chocolate. They were all ok...notbad but nothing outstanding either which was a bit dissappointing as we were expecting better from a cafe that roasts their own beans (or is that a coffee roaster with a cafe?). Service was good, with the barista offering to make a fresh cup if our coffee was weak. The desserts looked really appealing and I guess we'll have to make another trip to try them!

Jasmine offers a large selection of groceries from the south-east asian region - in addition to the normal Asian supermarket items - which is great as I don't have to trek to Chinatown or Kingsford for certain ingredients or specific brands. Tony, the owner, is also more than happy to help you out with any questions about products.

I needed an emergency heel repair - it was a little pricey considering that it only involved the sole of the heel. However, the couple who own the shop are very friendly and efficient so that was a positive counterpoint. The heel was fixed quickly and it's been holding up well.

Personally, I prefer this bakery over its next door rival. I think their buns and cakes are nicer...their chestnut bun is really good and I frequently indulge my swiss roll cravings here - they're sold in single slices as well as whole rolls. There's a good range of swiss roll flavours (taro, almond/vanilla?, chocolate, green tea) and they aren't too sweet nor overloaded with cream. I don't really fancy the BBQ pork bun though - fatty pieces of meat with more onions than pork...Maria's next door is better. Service is hit or miss. The lady is friendly on some days, dour on others.

This is one of the best Asian bakeries in Sydney...no small claim, considering I love my Asian baked goods. So far, nearly everything I've tried there deserves two thumbs up (major fan of their bbq pork bun , taro bun, red bean paste bun, coconut tart...and the Napolean

Chose this shop as it accepts credit cards. It's a small Korean operation, manned by 1 lead stylist and 2 young assistants when I was there. Decided to get highlights - the stylist was helpful, suggesting several shades that would complement my skin tone. I was pleased with the final outcome and would recommend this place for its service and quality.

This restaurant really needs a good cleaning from ceiling to floor. Every tabletop is shiny with oil and a baby roach skittered across the countertop as I was paying. Had a takeaway lamb bun - basically an homemade bun with minced lamb filling. The lamb mince was ok but the bun was overly greasy...it was probably pan-fried or slathered with oil then baked but either way, it left an unpleasant oil slick on the tongue. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Decided to check out this place after reading about it in the SMH newspaper. Serves good Pakistani/Indian food - we had the lamb bryiani and chili panner. Both were delicious (although the paneer was quite mild, unlike what its name suggests). We struggled to finish the generous portions and were stuffed by the end of the meal). The owner/staff are very friendly and attentive. The ambience is very basic and cafeteria-like but clean.

My sister and I used to be regulars here before she moved. This is a nice cafe to relax and chat with friends. The coffee and cakes are good...service is also attentive but not intrusive.

The char siew (bbq pork) here is marvelous...thick, juicy chunks of pork. Overall, their roast meats are all good. However, if you're watching sodium levels, go easy on the soy chicken and noodle soups. The complimentary soups are good though - taste like real stock. Service is efficient if a little brusque during peak dining hours (they pointedly set the bill down as soon as you're finished).
