Been to Milan a couple of times and the food has been pretty good. Serve on the small side but great curries, very authentic.

I've had their set dinner menu there several times as it is just fantastic value. $15 gets you entree, soup, main, dessert, all generously sized and reasonably tasty. It's not the best Japanese food around, but great for a hearty big meal. The place is always packed.

The place looks a bit like a takeaway joint, but the food was absolutely fantastic. Authentic south Indian food, the curries were amazing and so were the various exotic entrees. Very reasonably priced as well!

Modern intimate dining place, I had a prawn dish and the food was very fresh and beautifully cooked. A bit on the expensive side, but generally pretty good food, atmosphere and service.

Great atmosphere, spacious bar and intimate dining area. Pizzas were pretty good, though a tad overpriced. Nice trendy place for an afterwork drink.

Nice new apartments and good service. Only trouble is the apartments are a bit hot all the time, and a few bugs in summer. Otherwise good value for business travel.

Grungy place filled mainly with occupants from the YHA upstairs. Pizzas are their specialty -- cooked on the spot and great value if you have 2 people (2 for 1 on weeknights). they have karaoke nights and trivia nights now as well for entertainment. Good place for a quick bite or to hang out with friends.

The RUC presents itself exactly as it sounds - macho pub with TV screens showing sports, and great value food. The $9.90 steak dinner nightly on weeknights is great for a good value meal, and there's always some sort of special on drinks each night of the week too. For $5 you get a yearly membership which entitles you to membership specials every time you eat there. Great to hang out with your mates for cheap drinks and good food.

Had a couple of curries with friends. Food was excellent, and good sized serve. Chillis were generally mild. Service is lacking a little, waiters were probably too busy, and didn't bother asking us if we wanted dessert or coffees despite us staying on for a while after mains.

I went for a snack on a Thursday night and I was attracted to the cafe by the band playing which was bringing a nice atmosphere to the small neighborhood of Kingston. As expected from Belgian beer cafe, it has a good selection of 1kg pot of mussels, which I intend to try on their 'half price' Tue nights. I ordered the Quail Scotch eggs this time instead - they were average. The egg was more cooked than I expected, and combined with the crumbed veal it all got a bit too heavy. I would've also preferred an accompanying salad that wasn't all pickled vegetables. It was a generous serve though for the price and I'll definitely be coming back to try the mussels.
Great selection of Belgian beer and great band.
