My daughter attends Tandara daily for before and after school care. The educators are just brilliant and are always happy to have a chat about your kid and any concerns you may have. They go the extra mile to make sure that the kids in their care are entertained and well cared for. They provide breakfast and afternoon tea and the food is nutritious and yummy! The facility is always well taken care of and has a huge sandpit. They have extra curricular sports on Wednesdays and on Fridays, the term 1 sports were tennis and fencing! My daughters school opened their own before and after school care program and still I won't change.

Approximate cost: $85 a week

I go to Penrith RSL because they have an awesome buffet style restaurant. The staff are attentive, a little too attentive at times, we left the table to get something to eat and they had cleared and refilled our table with new customers! Other than that, the food is amazing, the poker machine areas are relatively clean and the bar staff are excellent!

Today my daughter and I were in the Jamisontown store, using the last 2 dollars we had to try and buy some food that will tide us over until I get paid from my part time job tomorrow night. We picked up some dolmio pasta sauce and then agonised that we couldn't afford some cheese to go on top of the sauce and the pasta we have at home. We went to the self serve area and lined up. We got to a counter and I swiped the bottle and placed it on the counter. My five year old daughter tried to be helpful and picked it up to carry it for me, and just as the 2 dollars left my bank account, she dropped the sauce. It shattered. The sauce went everywhere and all over my daughter's foot. I burst into tears. There went all chance of a half decent dinner for two nights. We were going to be eating straight pasta and that was it. I was embarrassed, sad, frustrated, and burst into tears. Cue my guardian angel. "Oh hun, don't cry! We''ll clean this up!" I didn't get her name, but I believe she is a manager. She patted my arm and made soothing noises while a young man who was in charge of the self serve area cleaned up the mess. Another angel came with wet wipes and cleaned up my poor little girl, who was repeating over and over, "It's my fault, I'm sorry mummy." I must have gasped out the precariousness of our situation because suddenly my guardian angel disappeared. I cuddled my daughter who had begun to cry, to console her enough for us to leave when my angel came back and handed me another sauce. I tried to explain that I couldn't afford it but she wouldn't let me finish, "It's alright, hun. Have a good night."
Thanks to the angels at Jamisontown Woolworths, My daughter and I can have full tummies tonight.
I wish I could do more to thank them other than write a review.
