Bay Vista is a spectacular dessert bar in a brilliant location. Since it opened up it has consistently delivered such visually stunning & incredibly delicious desserts. I am an absolute sucker for the Snickers or Nutella crepes and the Cinnamon Scrolls are a must. The ice cream is top quality as well and they have an excellent range of cold and hot drinks to choose from.
The prices are pretty expensive for a dessert bar but you'll do well to finish the dishes on your own - great portion sizes. The coffee isn't the best around but it makes up for it with the quality of the desserts.
The location is brilliant, overlooking the beach and is the perfect place to have brunch on a Sunday afternoon. It does get a touch loud inside & out and can get difficult to get a table at night but if you get the chance to check it out, it is a must.
Have been a countless amount of times with friends & family and will definitely be going again - we love it there.
Really enjoyed my first experience with Cafe Chantellina last week. I was in Miranda shopping centre to catch up with a few mates & found this place as we walked through. I had heard great things about it previously, so it was only right that I checked it out myself.
The food was excellent, I decided to go with the beef nachos and they never stood a chance. A big plate came out filled with nachos and they were beautiful. not too greasy or runny and an excellent balance of cheese & chips. Finished off the meal with a very nice coffee as well, so overall very satisfied.
The prices were a touch on the expensive side but I can say in my experience, these prices were justified by the quality and portion size of the food. Not only that, the staff were very friendly & attentive and the food was out on our table pretty quickly after completing our order. Bear in mind, we did go on a Thursday so it was pretty quiet, but very satisfied none-the-less.
Will definitely be back soon, this time for breakfast, because the breakfast menu did look very good!
Up there with the best burgers I've had and head & shoulders above any other burgers joints in the area. The burgers are massive & super tasty - go get yourself a hamburger with the works.
The burgers are affordable, especially in terms of the size of the feed you are paying for. Although it is difficult to find parking and at peak burger eating times its near impossible to find a seat, this joint is a must see for all burger lovers out there.
The most impressive thing about Paul's is that it has stood the test of time. For as long as I can remember, the burgers are consistently tasty, famously large & incredibly satisfying - looking forward to going back again soon because I know I'll continue to be more than satisfied.
When we decide on a night out in Cronulla, we always go to Sting Bar. The crowd is a mix of all ages and they play a great variety of music. It is a great location opposite the entrance to Cronulla mall & the drinks are surprisingly affordable for a nightclub/bar. Great little venue with a big dance floor, plenty of room to sit and a good sized bar so that you don't need to wait too long for a drink. An excellent spot in the Shire for a couple of drinks, yet to have a bad night going to this place!
These guys are excellent. They helped me organise my first shipment for my business and the originally daunting process became a big relief with the expertise & assistance of the team there. They organised for my goods to be collected, shipped & delivered to my door step efficiently & as quick as international trade & customs would allow it. Mick, Ken & the rest of the team there were very receptive to any questions I had and were always happy to take a call, even at the most stressful times.
Happy to say that because of these guys, my business is up and running a lot quicker than I had expected it to be. They will definitely be my preferred freight forwarder for all future shipments but I highly recommend anybody looking to import or export personal goods or business products to contact these guys. Highly affordable, plenty of experience, very professional & always a pleasure to speak too.
Very impressed with the service at Perry's Pooches. I am based down the road & had to take my partner's dog in for a groom. They are exceptional pet groomers & sitters and offer a cage free environment for their clients. The staff are professional & careful and have a knack for dealing with fidgety pets.
My partner's Japanese Spitz - Bentley has a habit of wanting to explore absolutely everything but they were able to manage his compulsive curiosity very well and gave him a wicked new haircut too!
Liz & the team there are a breath of fresh air, so I highly recommend any pet owners in & around the area to try this place out. Affordable, professional & timely, I will definitely be going back. Overall, very happy with the service & I know Bentley was too!

An excellent experience right round for me - every time. I love this cafe, nice layout, very modern, personable & competent staff, a thorough menu to choose from & above all else - quality coffee.
Always love tucking into a big breakfast there - very well displayed, very generous portions & quite affordable. Never had a bad experience with these guys, it's always a pleasure dropping in. Looking forward to heading back in there again soon.
An excellent cafe, consistently brilliant. The staff there are always friendly & accommodating, the food is excellent, it's very reasonably priced & most importantly, the coffee is great!
I always pop in to grab a coffee & a quick chat when I am around the area. I highly recommend Pavement Cafe to anybody that wants to treat themselves to a cheeky coffee & a good experience - Always memorable, always outstanding.
We decided to visit Taronga Zoo for Valentine's Day this year & couldn't be happier with the decision to do so. We booked our day through Experience Oz and had our tickets & transport to and from Circular Quay sorted. It had been some time since I had seen Taronga Zoo & was very impressed with all the renovations. It still boasts a great atmosphere and brilliant displays & enclosures for the animals.
The meerkats, elephants & otters were particularly hilarious but I was very satisfied with the variety & amount of animals that were there. Be sure to arrive well before there feeding time though, anything after 2pm and most of them are in a big food coma.
The food & souvenirs were a bit pricey but that is always expected with such a venue. The view overlooking the city & the harbour was magnificent and if you can catch yourself there on a nice sunny day, it truly is a sight to be seen.
Overall it was a great experience & a memorable way to spend a Valentine's Day. Will definitely be heading back to the zoo again, maybe for a live musical performance at night or the Roar & Snore!
