Fantastic. I have been here several times and everything I've had off the menu is great. Lots of options for those with special food needs. They've taken the humble burger and elevated it to an artform!

Great Indian. One of the best in Perth. It also has good decor, avoiding the garishness of most Perth Indian restaurants. It's not cheap, but most good Indian food isn't.

It's oh so cool, and all the staff look like art students. Really good coffee but the chilli sausage roll I had was not very chilli, and the sausage looked more like polony to me. 5 for the coffee, 2 for the food, I round it up to 3 stars.

It's cool to have a restaurant tucked away on Market St, and it's 2-storey as well, which is interesting. The pizzas we had were great, and Fremantle's not short on good pizza so that's saying something. They had a good wine selection from memory.
Approximate cost: $30
Wow! You have to try the hot chocolate and churros here - totally awesome. Spanish hot chocolate officially rocks my world. Basically they are so thick and sweet it's like eating a full meal.
I have only had coffees here, but it rates among the best in Fremantle. Everyone is friendly too, and the decor is quite cool - very individual. It has recently changed hands (was called Spoonz before)
A Fremantle landmark by now. The menu is straightfoward but good, and pretty well priced. Kind of hard to have a decent conversation over dinner here, but it certainly does have a great vibe.

Great little hidden cafe in Freo. Pretty much typifies the Fremantle vibe - alternative. Not pretentious though. Great food, decor is inviting. An interesting menu, with good options for people with food allergies.
Approximate cost: $22
Similar menu to Mill's Bakehouse - because it was Mill's Bakehouse a couple of years ago. Funkier decor but more expensive too - it's fine but you're better off going to Mill's.
Approximate cost: $20
Not a fine dining experience by any means, but if you are looking for something better than your average lunch bar, go here. The do a mighty fine latte.
