Pizza delivered with the usual, mass produced, gelatinous muck but that's what we've come to expect from around our area so that was nothing new. What was new was the piece of blue laminate which was found just before my son went to put the pizza into his mouth. Called the shop where the owner/manager proceeded to argue as to whether or not the piece came from his shop. We returned to the shop with the piece of laminate where he still professed his innocence...even though the counter top was the exact same blue laminate and was missing huge chunks in it. He was more concerned with getting his piece of laminate back (even though he still proclaimed it didn't come from his shop) than apologising. Never ever again.

Great cut, great colour but put aside at least half a day for one! You'll be kept waiting and waiting while the stylists attend to other clients. I went in at 10.30am for a cut and colour and came out at 3pm and honestly, most of the time was spent waiting for people to attend to me. I waited for about 45 mins whilst a BALD man, yes a BALD man received a hair cut. The apprentice offered me a free treatment while I waited but the owner said no.
I came out after 4 hours and the cost - $240.
It is a great colour and cut but it's far too expensive for the service.
For that price I'm expecting one on one attention, not having to wait and at the very least, comfy wash bowl chairs...oh and a treatment!

I'm describing my experience with a particular member of staff who has now moved to the Greensborough office. Liz Callis is so very helpful and provided us with everything we wanted for our second honeymoon and at a price that other Flight Centres couldn't do. Personalised, prompt service, not pushy in the slightest and overall a great person to work with.
I would have no hesitations in using Liz for our next holiday and would follow her to whatever Flight Centre office she goes to.

Trip advisor is great and their forums are particularly helpful when travelling o/seas. You just have to be careful with the reviews as they tend to run a little 'bi polar', extremes in opinions. You tend to get either the guests who were extremely pleased or the guests who were extremely disappointed, but the guest photos are very helpful, great to see what a hotel looks like from the perspective of a guest and not a professional photographer.

Go and sample what it's like to be a true guest. There are no pokie machines here, no 'line up to order', 'line up to pick up your dinner', no 1000 seat 'pack 'em in' bistro and/or hurriedly made, mass produced rubbish being passed off as food.

Here you will be greeted by at least one member of the family that owns the hotel, you will be treated as a guest, you will be served and you will taste great food.

The steaks are brilliant, they're big, they're juicy and the way you order it is the way it will arrive.
The calamari salad...absolutely divine! You have to try it.

After visiting The Emerald Hotel you'll remember what it's like to be a patron at a real hotel again and wonder why you've accepted anything less.

Had my 3rd baby at Waverley Private and it was the best experience I've ever had in a maternity ward. The midwives, the angels of Waverley as I refer to them, are brilliant. I've never felt so well taken care of and you can tell that it's more than a job to these ladies...they truly do care for their patients.
I took the option to be moved to the Novotel for the last two nights and that was fantastic...the one on one care from the midwives there (especially Meryl!) was absolutely brilliant for all of the little questions that a Mum has before heading home and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The entire staff at Waverley...from the theatre staff to the kitchen staff are lovely, professional and very friendly.

Dr Dennis...my hero! Half way through my pregnancy I made a phone call to Dennis in tears because of my treatment from another obstetrician and within minutes we were chatting and laughing. I'm so glad that I entrusted Dr D to be a part of my baby's birth. I can't stress enough how wonderful Dr D is and how refreshing it is to find a specialist (especially an obstetrician) who doesn't speak down to you from behind his 'throne' (desk) and how calming and relaxing it is to entrust your health and the health of your baby to such a wonderful, caring man as Dr D. When no one else would listen to me, when no one else cared to help me achieve the birth I thought my baby and I deserved, Dennis listened, supported and helped me achieve it.
Thank you Dennis...you are brilliant!

Peter Tang has two methods of helping mothers birth their babies...he either leaves it to the midwives to handle for natural births (is it a huge coincidence how many natural births he misses?) or he's there, scalpel at the ready for a cesarean which he says is 'safer for mother, safer for baby'. Oh he's lovely and quietly spoken, has a great bedside manner and a throng of happy mummas at the ready to sing his praises.
But deviate from his plan, ask questions and/or expect a say in how your baby enters the world and you will find the normally lovely man turn into a self righteous, pompous, ignorant man who will tell you straight out - it's his way or the highway. He is more concerned with his insurance company than working with the mum and he actually said as much to me personally.
Obstetricians aren't gods ladies...if they're not going to do what you're paying them for then find one who will!
I would never recommend this man to any mother having a baby.
