I ordered a veggie burger from this shop tonight. I requested half the normal sweet chili sauce. And to make sure they didn't forget I repeated my request after I payed for the order. Pretty simple request right? Wrong. I got home and the burger had the normal amount of sauce which duly leaked out over my chips. For me it ruined the burger. But to be fair I called them to pass on my feedback. A [redacted personal identifier] guy answered the phone. He passed on my feedback to [redacted personal identifier] who I heard say rather defensively in the background "So what does he want us to do??". The [redacted personal identifier] guy came back to the phone & gave me a half hearted apology & dismissively told me "mistakes happen you know". I gave him a few moments to offer to replace the burger. No such offer. I then suggested they should take a poultry couple of dollars off my next order and got the "Oh oh well ahh...awkward silence" response. Pathetic. They get 4 for their food and 0 for their service. So 1 is all they deserve!

**Follow up - 21-07-2017 - I thought i'd give this place another chance tonight & ordered a veggie burger with a side of chips & salad. I asked if they could smaller portions of chips and salad for the same price as a normal side of chips & the guy said ok. Then when my order was ready, they charged me the normal full price for two separate sides of chips and salad, incl: a huge tub of salad I couldn't possibly eat. When I asked why he was charging full price for separate sides, he said the owner told him to. So I cancelled the salad. But I wish i'd cancelled the chips when I got home...I got a measly serve of chips, and they were over-cooked. But it got worse. The burger has no substance at all. It tasted so unhealthy and did not taste fresh. All I could taste in my mouth was the huge white bread bun and greasy junk. Then I took a bite out of the burger and dragged one of the (two) pieces of lettuce out of the burger which was obviously off, had a dark brown colour (and not from the sweet chilli sauce) and had the slimy consistency of seaweed. It was gross! I can still feel that slimy sensation in my throat. I should have got the message by the fact I was the only customer in the store on a Friday night. I wont be back. Do yourself a favour...forget this place and go to Hunky Dory on Chapel St. It is SO much better, healthier & costs like $1.00 more for the same order. And it's not a dive like this place.
