I have used Jonwin on 2 occasions - their price is good and their work is also very good. I think they are a family business - their office person/coordinator is fast, efficient, dilgent and remembers everything. I recommend this business.
Some time ago, I had my first spending spree for years, and bought a gas heater, gas stove and gas hot water system, after seeking advice from Gasworks about what would be best for me. After the hot water system was installed, I was without hot water for a week and it never really worked well. Some time later when I couldn't wrangle with it any longer I finally got them out to check it out properly, they wanted to charge me approx $190 to change something in the hot water system - they did fix it and I refused to pay them, and wrote them a letter saying why I was so unhappy with them. They weren't happy and I won't go back. I didn't pay them. They didn't pursue it. I think that they palmed off a faulty system to me, thinking that it wouldn't matter - it did. It still plays up sometimes & I would have to replace it if I wanted to rent the place out. The heater also needed servicing soon after buying it - I have a feeling that I had been given old stock that had been returned or left lying around. The oven is fine. While I was in 'buying mode' the service was fantastic, until the items didn;t work properly. Then I felt like they thought I was a customer from hell that they couldn't be bothered with.
My daughter party in an accident, in my car, interstate.The driver at fault had GIO as insurers - they wee so efficient, and compassionate each time I called with so many questions. I was si impressed, that I have considered changing my car insurer to go to GIO.
I went in to pay for petrol and realised I had left my wallet at home - 10kms away!! I asked the attendant if I cold go home to get it, and left my most valuable possesion that I had with me, as collateral - they allowed this, and I drove home and took the money back in - they didn't make a fuss - they were really good about it - I felt silly, but it was OK with them. I wa very happy with how they handled this.
